    Did their computers tell hackers "Stop, there's sensitive data"?

    Why not they just accuse the software vendors who sell the un-safe shit? Or their stupid customers because they use too simple passwords ? Or just fire their idiotic employee?

    Does it improve the runtime or compiling-time performance? All I see are just some trivial bug-fixes and incompatability with gcc 3.1.

    I'm wondering if somebody really wants to upgrade to it...

    Yes, I agree .net is not evil. It's just entirely useless. If someone want to use .net, why not just use java? java has more support, and more complete developenment resource.

    Although M$ says .net supports other languages, in fact, they lie, because: 1.There are more implementations for other languages in java platform. 2.Thhose languages can't (almost impossible) be well-integrated with java or .net. Some features such multi-inheritance, dynamical-typing is not the nature in both java and .net, implementing them costs performance and others. (ex: jpython, and a python prototype in .net, which is too slow to actually work) What's .net provides is only a bitter better, see http://www.javalobby.org/members/jpr/clr.pdf

    I agree. Because people who want only a desktop environment should not use linux. And desktop environment in linux such as KDE and GNOME only make work efficientless and waste lots of memory and CPU resource.

    Emacs is indeed good. But it cannot do everything --- lack of a powerful class browser. see http://sourcenav.sf.net

    And..... I hate eclipse, it's a memory monster (110 MBs on my linux, sun's JVM 1.4). After waiting several minutes for it's startup, I found that there is even no auto-indent......
