That's what you get for removing your tin foil hat: Let me point out that none of those things you're carrying can authenticate your preasense without you wanting it to. But you can't leave your face at home or in your pocket like your keys or your card. You need a standardised personal identification token to deliver you from the confusion of multiple keys/fobs/cards (from which I myself suffer) but won't run the risk of being used without your knowledge or permission.

In other news the Keyboard-o-IP is the new computer accessory for the privacy-conserned citizen. The pro model features all the newest encryption standards for added security (just in case you don't trust the server either).

Ericsson's T610 mobile phone has an encrypted PIN store that (apparently) doesn't store the passnumber. It asks for a "check word" each time you change the passnum and encrypts it along with the rest of the data. Each time you enter the passnum it happily decrypts everything not caring if it's correct or not. It displays the decrypted check word for you to see if it's the word you put in or gibberish and decide if the passnum was correct. On the manual they warn with the boldest fond they could find that, once the passnum is lost data cannot be recovered.
