    Trump was not looking at selling coal in the USA, natural gas is cheaper.
    The market for that coal is other countries. Since the start of 2016 over 1600 new coal plants have started construction or have funding and they need coal. In 2017 the USA increase exports of coal by 50% and is now producing around 15% of all coal.

  4. No they are taking high pay for the extra work. I am at a US job and get around 50 days off a year however I am taking lower pay compared to if I was at a job where I only got 15 days off a year.

  5. I would not say that it is not likely in our lifetime. metal 3d makers are already out and coming down in price. It will still be few years before they are cheap enough for the backyard maker/blacksmith.
    Don't know how much pressure they can take but they are using them to make universal sockets and connectors so they can take some force.

  6. They require the same thing from gun purchasers and that has constitutional protections, the chance that local judges will rule against the city is low.

  7. The reason for the first couple of things is because they are employees of the contracting company. The government is hiring that company to provide those services and the people are expected to already have the skills, or the government person is supposed to report that and the company will be fined for not providing service as required.
    The problem is too many military officers don't want to cause a problem and know they will be gone in a short time and civilian managers also will rarely bring up the problem When I have tried to remove contractors I have been told wait until the current contract is over and they will remove the person then and other times I have been told since the contractor is a former military they will just train him.
    There is no office that you can file a complaint with and even if there was there is was top officials have a reason to keep all the people because they are needed for a mission that will be happening sometime in the future (maybe).

  9. There are plenty of idiots that think school ID are worth something. I carry around a fake one for use at places that require picture identification or that want you to leave identification. I previously used my actual one,long after I graduated, then I out grew that picture.
    Hunting licenses have anti-forgery protection, are checked against the person, and unless you are old expire.

    In reality banks would not loan out to most students without a really high rate of interest since the majority of students have college loans that are of an amount less then the price of your average non-luxury family car.
    Our you could be an real idiot like elizabeth warren who believes that people should be required to make loans for 20-30 years at APR at around 1/2 the rate of inflation.

    Plenty of scientists are saying there is not a scientific link between the fires and climate change, even Vox ran a story with that.
    However there are plenty of government officials who want to throw money at it for that way, since of doing the actual work and allowing controlled fires, that it is suddenly a climate change issue and money is available if you say the fire are primarily caused by that.

    School debt can be discharged via bankruptcy it just takes a higher standard then a regular bankruptcy. It is also automatically discharged after a period of time.
    Getting a degree is not that expensive it is living the lifestyle that college students want that is costing a high amount.
    In most states you can get a regionally accredited degree for less $20,000. If you don't want to do any type of loan there are plenty ways to get your degree paid for, most of them go lacking in requests.

  16. That 500 is out of 8000 cases where someone called in someone else via anonymous reporting. So among those anonymous calls detecting welfare fraud is rare.

    Lazy loading is a standard part of http/2 standard.
    The idea behind it is that a web site can decide to send you images, code,etc before you have actually requested it or need it. That way when you do request it you will get quicker web page viewing.
    The security issue with it is that an evil web site could decide to sent you evil images, code,etc that then when your computer is being looked at those evil items could show up. Currently, no browsers provide a way for an investigator to see if it is something you actually requested or if it was a lazy load.

  18. It is more than just that. If you go look at the quality of life surveys and other "best place to live" that compare countries one of the major factors that lowers the level of the USA is the amount of females on these boards and in congress(state and federal).
    So they forcing women into these slots they would be raising the quality of life and making California a better place to live.

    That is no longer what is wanted. As was said on NPR, week on July 1 on Morning Edition, the biggest fear the southern poverty law center had about Trumps selection for Supreme Court was that they would have a track record of being race neutral.

    If you look at Dr. T. Colin Campbell The China Study fame, famous among the "eating meat is murder" crowd he also feed glyphosate to cancer prone mice and if you read his results those had a less chance of dying then his non-glyphosate mice.

    Couple of issues.
    1) state ID is not required. A federal ID can be used and that does not prove citizenship.
    2) It is a photo of the ID, pictures of actual id are available and a photo is easy to fake. Even the best of face recognition is bad, and my current federal ID don't look totally like me currently and they are only a few years old.
    3) I guess but with the bad face recognition that cannot be done.

    Luckly this was just more of that standard poor reporting we get from CNN. In reality the state is requiring that you sign up for this program before hand. With you signing up you then have to prove your citizenship of the state and country, and that database is then used for tracking if you voted or not. The face picture is being used also like a signature that would happen with mailing in your vote, but a little more secure and provable that it was you who voted.

    From my understanding this still does not help solve that overall issue. So Nestle releasing their own blockchain, then if that aggrigator also sells to another companies they would have to use another blockchain, and everyone in that list would need equipment for each of these blockchain.
    I would think it would be better to have some centralized standard number system, like RFID, where the farmers can add to the items they give to the aggrigator who can record and give both to the company making the final product.
