    trillian pro 2.0 (in beta) supports jabber, or any network for that matter, through plugins. have to pay for it though.

    if you have proxies in your network that you're not aware of, don't complain to me about it. meanwhile, if there are network devices on your network that you don't control, that's your problem.

    i am very aware of what proxies are. i manage two.

    if p0f was crap, it would not be in OpenBSD. alas, it is.

    If it were crap, it would not be in OpenBSD.

    If you've got absolutely no confidence in p0f, then help them gather more information and populate their db if your system isn't detected properly.

    Sirius doesn't have Frank's Place. To me, absolutely worth the $10/mo, *alone*.

    The commericials on XM are very short. I've yet to hear one longer than 30 seconds, before it's back to music. The channels I listen to don't have them anyways. =)

    the 4600 is nice, but compared to the 45xx, it's slow and can't even print certain colors.

    sure, it can print the first page from sleep much faster, but the single pass 4600 can't produce the same colors as the 4 pass 45xx, and they seem to print slower too.

    the speed is my opinion, but the inability to print colors due to it being single pass is a known issue with hp.

    i did like that they resolved the footprint issue though. the 45xx are huge.

    i'm 6'4". you're right, the keyboard is nice. there's something about the lid that makes it seem flimsy compared to the c400 though.

    ahh. now i remember. i had the 6 cell battery. without extra batteries, you get a 4 cell.

    for the c400, you can get a 16 cell battery, but it pretty much doubles the height and weight. =(

    why would one buy an ultra-small laptop, only to then need a dvd burner or external drive? if i'm going to shell out $$ for an uber-small laptop, i want it as light as possible

    besides ... are there any actual valid uses for an optical disc reader these days?

    I have such a cyst, but mine is higher up, almost directly on the tailbone.

    Can you have them removed? Yes, but it's sometimes not the easiest or best solution. Seeing as how it's near one's ass, infection after surgery is fairly common.

    the police do this daily. usually, they call up the criminal telling him/her they've won something, and they need to go to such and such a place to claim the prize. presto, back of the cruiser.
