    What I'd LOVE to see is a F/OSS or even proprietary PDF reader/writer (complete with forms) in under the massive 335mb or 100mb options mentioned above.

    regardless of the repo, the signed binary can't be compromised if the user has the default and correct public key in their keyfile.

    Actually I've done just that. They asked to see the laptop and it booted to a cli interface. even after logging in (dummy account) the guy didn't know what to do and when he asked if it could be booted to windows for him to look around, I got a strange look when telling him it didn't run windows.

    He sort of chuckled and said he didn't know that was possible but didn't care. no gui to him meant no pics apparently.

    no strip search, no confiscation, no disk cloning.

    *waves his hand* "this isn't the laptop we're looking for... move along"

    I watched them for the first time when I was about 9 and even now, they still rock over their newly bastardised movies. The original VHS (or if you were lucky to own an LD and convert it to DVD PLEASE for the love of all that's holy hook me up) is where it's at because the newly redesigned simply SUCKS. I liked them cleaning up the images to make them sharper but GEEZ! NO EXTRA SCENES AND DO NOT CHANGE THE MUSIC.

    GL YOU SUCK!

    Yeah, I however only caught the first hour of that movie, then at a later date watched the last 30 minutes. So all in all I don't think I missed much. As 'optimistic' as I was about the movie, the 90 minutes I did see was decent enough. *cough*uffishly*cough*

    As another /. member pointed out an error, I am making a formal correction to my previous statement and this is what my final sentence should have read:

    "The government is merely a keeper for it's citizens, soon to be or otherwise protected by natural inalienable human rights and its sole obligation is for our collective protection and benefit for the long and short term"

    You're correct. Bad choice of words and a lack of using the "preview" button were my fault. I should have more clearly stated:

    "The government is merely a keeper for it's citizens, soon to be or otherwise protected by natural inalienable human rights and its sole obligation is for our collective protection and benefit, long and short term"
