  1. Re:Terraforming on Biological Activity on Mars · · Score: 1

I'll have to apologize just a bit. My mood was in one of those "screw the liberal tree hugging hippy vegan strait edge freaks" mode.

Study away, and mars is big enough to live nearby without effecting them too much (or so we may think).

    Anywho, it's all good.

screw it. I say we terraform it anyways. Micro sized colonies of amoeba like creatures are great, but if we "stopped" at every pool of living cells we'd walk on eggshells our whole lives! Mars get's special treatment since it's another planet?

Sorry, nothing will form there. Nothing IS there. It's just like the search for the missing link from ape to man. It simply won't be found out.

And one of these days' I'll look forward to presenting the evidence to you directly and without a doubt people will know.

...simply won't take down an airplane. Even if you're in first class right behind the cockpit. I've had a wireless scanner agressively scanning in the background for a number of hours before I realized it was actually doing it and never ONCE did a pilot, flight attendant ever come on the PA, or heard chatter when the cockpit door was open.

Hell, I've even used my cell phone (with headset) to check voicemail. The things simply do not interfere with flight information systems etc.

It took me by surprise, but everything from a JetBlue flight to a jumbojet, anything by delta or the like have no problems. I'm not sure why they say such things.

They say it will interfere, but then again they're using industry grade devices that state by the FCC that it has to accept interference, even unintended or otherwise and blah blah blah. Everyone's read the warnings, they're just being overly cautious in my opinion. It simply won't take out a plane, no matter how hard they may argue.

And my roommate is a pilot, so argue with him. He says they "could", but there's that plausible factor that scares people into submission. But once again, IT WILL NOT TAKE OUT AN AIRPLANE SYSTEM!

The students and faculty of BYU are some of the most curious people when it comes to discovering old artifacts of historical significance; especially of it being closely related to religious or early symbolic representations of their culture as to identify and understand the symbolism within the cultures. Thus, better enabling them to understand the scriptures in a cultural and spiritual way since the scriptures are literally littered with symbolism. Take a look at Isaiah sometime and tell me that's not difficult without understanding symbolism.

It's not that 'Mormons' aren't happy with the teachings, writings and 'second bible'. In fact they are, quite a bit. But anything of historical value within this direction of understanding culture and history is definitely what they're after.

We all know how kids want to be grown up without being grown up... we were all there and some still are (ie: personal responsibility)
