I'm curious. Would you mind sharing a few details on those financial decisions you've alluded to? I'm a guy in my early 20s and I'm struggling to make some wise choices now.
The taskbar's default position should be on the left-hand side of the screen, not the bottom. Here's why:
1. Having the bar at the bottom uses up vertical space, esp. when it's two units high or more. Reading stuff on a screen requires much more vertical space than horizontal. Moving the bar to the side frees up vertical space and results in less scrolling.
2. You can fit WAY more quicklaunch buttons without affecting how much taskbar room you have for running programs. Quicklaunch buttons are a blessing and I can't live without em.
3. You also get way more room for the hooks for running programs that show on the taskbar (can't think of a better way to describe them). They stack vertically and you can fit dozens more than when the taskbar is horizontal.
Seriously, once you move the startbar to the side and get used to it, you'll keep it there forever. Give it a shot if you haven't tried it.
Or your phone could just realize Ed was calling using the hyper-advanced technology of caller ID
But yeah, making anyone who calls you take a picture of their face and then send it to your phone so it can run a facial recognition algorithm on it is probably good too.
1) As a member of the house, he can legally record anything happening in it.
2) As long as he does not try to reap any financial gain from it, he can freely post it anywhere he sees fit. Yes, this means he could plaster it all over the web and you'd have no legal recourse (assuming you and your roomie are over 18)
There was a case a while back of a father taping his twenty-something year-old daughter (without her knowledge) and posting the videos to the net. She brought him to court and lost.
You can't make him erase it and you can't bust him for taking the footage. As long as he doesn't sell it you're SOL.
IANAL. But even if I were you should be taking everything you read here with a grain of salt. Follow up with an actual attorney tomorrow.
Could be Bjork...

RealDolls can cook now?
You can install extensions just by clicking an in-browser link. Firefox will open up an install dialog for you.
