I think the real player has got to be the worst player on the web. It streams like crap. The audio always falls off. It stalls and keeps to audio going all the time. WMV(windows media 8) and quicktime are the way to go. I hope with a opensource reel player perhaps someone will make it work and be a usefull setup.
Hey i didn't see your e-mail or anything so i had to reply on the board. I have Total Annihilation and the expansion and i never play it anymore. I would be willing to send it to you for the shipping costs or something. I don't know if you need the UK version for some special reason i have the regular american release.
Hey finally i have the right to do what i want with something i payed for. The freedom i have been given by ATT is just amazing. I am so glad they understand what it is to be an amaerican. Seriously i am glad ATT is "Letting" costumers do this, but they should never have had the right to complain about it in the first place. If i record a show and give it to my friend guess what i am a nice guy for taping there show. Down with ATT.

I think that Yahoo shouldn't be changing any words in e-mails unless the users specifically choose to turn that "feature on". I mean if i send anyone a e-mail i expect it to arrive as i sent it. What is the point of a global mail that picts what you can and can't write about.
I think ending a completely exclusive deal would be a good thing. It just seems that so many linux users and reader here, hate windows blindly. Which in some situations is the best option for something quick and familiar for users.
I am not saying that other options of OSes is always bad but it seems alot of governments and people try to specifically not use windows. I mean using different OSes for different purposes makes sense. Choosing one single os is always a bad idea for something this big.
why would governments be against microsoft. Which itself is very usefull software and a easy to use operating system. I mean a government ending a relationship with software that most of its workers use at home seems like a large expense.
Hey what happens when you get moded up or down what is the point of that. And scores what makes something get a high score or low score and what is the point of messages having a score? I would like to know if somebody has this info.
That is insane. IF some company can take a site that is being used for whatever the purpose long as it is being used for a purpose shouldn't be able to say anything. Cybersquating is dumb and hurtfull but is it really illegal to buy a domain name. What gives the companies rights to it more than people.
This is an operating system that hsould be developed even if there isn't "room" in the market for a new OS. Because as it progresses there will be room. As the OS becomes more usable people will make an effort to use it. Linux is a great windows alternative but starting completely over and not building off anything else is something that should really be done with most technology every so often. There is so much progress made in computer science why should we still be building off old systems and code. Build anew and you get a faster sleeker more efficient more reliable OS. This is great news even if it might take 6 years before it has the functionality of current OSes that are offered.
What about older windows machine when most people didn't have the net? I assume then that it didn't get a timestamp from microsoft. When did they change this over cause my old windows 98 machine always got the time wrong.
Hubble phots need to be easier to find and browse any current system i have looked at has been really disappointing. The photos can really be amazing but you either get tiny pictures or you can't find what you want.
There is a project to make a movie using standard render tools and such. There is a single guy trying to make a quality feature film using a regular computer not a render farm. Check out his site for more info

This is insane. We now in our country will not allow private citizens to attempt to attack something online they find wrong, but we will give the rights to companies to attack the citizens. What is next AOL attacks Mexico for the need to expand land. Companies shouldn't be able to make attacks on anything including networks. If we choose to use P2P to illegally trade files fine. But we can use them for legal reasons. I hope that soon the RIAA will just realize how much money they are loosing by not selling songs online yet.
