It appears that the site has been/.'ed although do you think that now, that there is this much publicity for the conference, the show is going to be filled beyond capacity.
Let's/. the conference, everyone make your travel plans.....
A good shell script, a 486, a p4 (bleh), and a network- it can be automated. That leaves the reliablity of Linux, and the lack of reliablity of humans (read: man chases woman- forgets to copy data)
Historian's are always tring to recreate the lives that were lived by those that inhabited this earth before us. Every little detail gave them a idea of how things were and the type of soceity they created/lived in.
Your PNG file with brittney has much more signifigance then you would belive.
Let's just say that 10,000 years from now, society is not allowed to think for themselves and those that do, are instantly shipped to Quixstar{a lame MLM company}- a planet in another solarsystem where they are contained and finally fed to uberwitch- a 75 million metric ton woman with a eating problem.
This new discovery will help them realize that 10,000 years ago, this was acceptable, and if they try to follow your p0rn habits, they could learn a lot about you, and what you were interested in. (m2m, fetish, etc.)
On a side note, I was bored and ran a search on my girlfriend's name on google yesterday. I found out that she made the honor roll in 98 cause her name was on a local news paper site, and a few other things, one giving her brothers name, mother and step father's name, and ages, and links to who sorioty house and pictures of her. (sorry no p0rn) with this information, someone that does not know her, could very easlily put together her life, and learn from it, create a timeline, etc.
It all adds up, and maybe no one wants to remember you now (Troll), but in 10,000 years when the supply of people to remember is limited, you, and the other handful or people could prove very useful in getting a gereral idea of how socitey was formed, and how life was.
2004: " The worlds power supply is in short demand. Governments are asking people to turn their computers and coffee makers off, and start usings pens and Redbull 2- (4 times the caffine)."
You said "4 P3-500s will surely compile slower than 2 p3-1.2GHzs. Nor did they say if those were Xeons or not (larger cache is better for compiling)."
Just for referance- you can not run a standard P3 on a 4way box. Standard p3's Can only be run on 1 or 2 proc boards. They had to be Xeon procs.
Also, based purly on proc speed, you are right. Although when you compair a 4way box, your hardware is "most likly" going to be faster and of a higher quality. i.e. faster disk subsystem (64bit pci Raid card(s), more ram, etc. ) When measuring computer speed, processor speed is not everything. (not that we don't all aready know that)
I don't have links, although i would imagine a google search would work.
If i remember correctly, it is 50.00us per second offence. although to get paid, it requires a decent amount of work on your part.
First - Log all the calls- Time, date, Company calling, phone # (if avail) and representive (nusance)
Second - You must request that you are taken off their list, and removed perminitly. Asking them not to call back does not work, and will not hold up.
Third - for each call from this company, you have to submit a sheet outlining the information that you collected above, the company (once again, don't remember) will investigate and if the offending company/nusance is in fact calling you again, you will get paid. per offence.
Although this can get tedious, and for those of you whos phones don't stop ringing, you might want to consider setting up a terminal next to your phone, running MySQL (geek)
I hope that i helped!
I don't think that this works for Ex's. You might want to try a restaining order.
you must not visit the p0rn sites... when i was 13, i was all over them, and i received enought to feed my office every hour on the hour if it was a quarter an email. Man.....
aparently you really don't know to much about cars. first of all, A car that runs lower 15's in the quarter is fast.
Second, quick does not mean that i race or have the desire to race with it, but i can and do have the power to accelerate when getting on the hwy or passing trucks. and
Finally) if you think that a protege 5 is confortable compaired to a BMW, you apparently have not driven or riden in one.
and you mentioned that the convertable could not keep up with your mustang (are you compensating for somthing, a small one maybe? ) last time i check converable's are slow as poop- think about that- top that moves- electic motor weightadditional safty nonsence for flipping - weight. No rigid roof- poor handling as the chassis will flex.
I as well have Comcast, and this is my take on it. I share the connection with a Linux firewall, and there are prolly 10 computers on my network. I live by myself, so what differance does it make if it is just one user behind the firewall.
Granted, I could whore bandwidth with various programs on each computer, or just run some form of p2p program. regardless I only have SO much bandwidth, and one instance of a p2p program on one computer can easily consume all of my bandwidth, all the time.
I am NOT SHARING my connection with anyone but myself.
Am I breaking the EULA if it is intended only for me?
Ok, this post sucks... (for a few reasons)
I drive a 3 series for a few reasons.
1) it is confortable (for those in the front seats) 2) it is quick 3) it is not a full size sedan 4) i live in DC and have to parallel park 5) the gas milage is 25 city - and 34 Hwy 6) it looks much nicer then a rice'd out Accord And the second reason this sucks, is the moderators gave it a score of 2 for saying it looks like an Accord....
BTW- If you drive a BMW gingerly, you can get great gas milage out of it. i have frequently pulled about 500 miles on one 15 gallon tank.
I typically don't follow trends set by stupid people, besides how can you judge the quality of a item if it is owned by a stupid person, they prolly don't know what fps even means!
Spend some time every morning (drinking your coffee, slowly waking up) looking over bug track and several other security related news groups that I can not think of currently, see if you can break and/or patch the holes/bugs/issues discussed.
Post if you have questions, post if you have solutions.
it's hardcore on all the details including the radio and communications theory necessary to understand how the 802.11 physical layer works
last time i checked, wireless or radio does not "really" have any physcal properties they are just vibrations of molcules screwing with our hearing......
those of us that have worked for DSL/Cable providers and have had the tech support calls about AOL's Software/client (bloated mess of code) screwing up the TCP/IP and network settings, you would also know how intrusive and controling it is on a typical PC.
Earlier someone said something about running NAT or a form of NAT on the new SM "router".
If you think about the fact that to use AOL's service you MUST have their client. They could very easliy have 1 or a few of the SM routers at each POP as needed. Set up one or more servers to deliver SM content only to the SM routers and run NAT to each (AOL Connected computer) behind it, thus reducing the effective WAN traffic from 5000 streams to one or two for each POP.
How will the router integrate with the desktop PC?
Think about a VPN with out the encryption, where the router is the remote network and the AOL client (PC) is the host. With out the need for encryption the processor overhead is limited.
Comming soon to a DELL near you!
"AOL 8.1 totally redesigned for streaming media."
AOL acomplishes this-
1) New users brought in by the consept that they too can get [decent] streaming media off their 56K.
2) Old users remain hooked- it actually works, and a ID10T can opperate it.
3) Finally while we would think bandwidth is not that much of a issue, it would still cut in to their margins, and thus the say 5+ million spent on the project development would prolly get made up in the reduced infastructure demands, reduced bandwidth utlized (thus no additional hardware for some time, outside of this project of course) and less human/shell script overhead as far as maintaining a decent QOS.
Let's /. the conference, everyone make your travel plans.....
No, but I think that M$'s IIS would! As junk or Trash that is.

Try here they do not require a login for current articles with in the past (month) i think.

I can't get in with that user/pass, although the settlement must not be that much per person. I can only imagine the phone bill they had.

What a waste of money, you must have failed "english 010"(several times), and passed "bullshit 304" with flying rainbow colors... STFU

don't you have some trolling to do around your customer's networks and circuits to shut down?
