    It has always been this way and will be for some time to come. The question is do you want the US to be on top or someone else? The US is imperfect but whom else would you have lead the world. The EU already has a higher GDP. Someone has to do it.

    Yes, but if you find a problem somewhere you solve it. This may require thought or just trying all of the possible combinations to arrive @ an answer. Accidents and failure can also cause creative things to happen.

    I do, but not for gaming. I use a CAD program on one monitor an a spreadsheet on the other. I've got a Ge Force FX 5600 card from ASUS. The point is to to get dual dvi out. It's not the fastest thing int the world but faster than comparable Matrox cards. I've got a 21" crt and a 19" lcd. The dual monitors are worth it. They are a fine time saver.

    Outlook and Exchange are what there really needs to be alternatives to. Whatever the replacement for Exhange is, would have to work with Outlook as well since so many are acustomed to Outlook working on their clients.

    Yes, and with bigger monitors, it's still a problem. Some are better than others, but I can still detect motion flicker on all LCD's that I've seen.

    I have both here at work, 21" CRT and 19" LCD dual monitor setup. The CRT is old. The LCD is a brand new Viewsonic with little motion flicker. Yet it is still anoying for cetain applications. It just depends on what it is.

    I disagree. Those little bits that are lacking are actually what make firebird better. It just seems so much faster than Mozilla.

    Playing devil's advocate here, what about the xbox's hard drive and multiplayer capability? I don't think PS2 is necessarly better in every way.

    Also the memory controller is onboard. I just built 2 2.0ghz machines with an MSI KT8 neo mother board and 2 WD SATA drives in raid 0 and am more than satisfied with the result.

    Not so. I once knew of someone that was blackballed. "If you hire him then we refuse to do business with you" sort of thing.

    Try getting fired in Virgina. The employer will call you back to work doing some shit job and get you to quit.

    Yes, that's true, only the penalty is usually less on the employers end unless your not easily replaced.
