    Several months ago a palestinian terrorist dressed as a woman, succeeded to fool soldiers at checkpoint Erez with a plea that "she" had a metal plate in the leg. After they let him come closer, avoiding the regular strict procedures, he exploded -- killing three and wounding one, if my memory serves me right.

    Next theorist with no clue, please.

    I would write a long reply, but I'm too busy wiping the Arab occupation in my neighborhood.

    I also have the weekly meeting in the judeo-mason cell in the morning, during which we are going to plan how to torture Palestinian children during the Rosh-haShanah holiday, so that proper entertainment will be available to us zionists.

    And it gets even more maddening every single year I see this tired nonsense with the wrong way to achieve Fusion trotted out like it's something new. It really doesn't matter what process these so called highly intelligent people at MIT etc..use, the process is still the same, you're working against the Plasma rather than with. It's the equivalent of using Rockets underwater verses using fins. It's almost as if they want to fail in some perverse way. So much intelligence being squandered on these absurd Fusion methods.

    Remember, you can get *ROOT* access to linux by rebooting and adding 'single' to the boot line. Does this mean that it should be fixed in the next kernel/distro?

    If you can do this on your system, it doesn't mean you can also do it on a properly administered publicly accessible system.

    Having said all that, what makes all this extra funny is, to learn any language, all you really need is a little review book (to master the syntax) and AN INTERNET CONNECTION.

    Today, Calc's internal computations are done with infinite precision for basic operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) and 32 digits of precision for advanced operations (square root, transcendental operators).

    Ouch. Now I realize that the right expression for this is not easy to come up with. I think .!(|.) would work if you are using bash with extended globing enabled. But can anybody come up with something better with the same result.

    In tcsh, type chown -R root.root .*, then press Ctrl-x *, remove . and .., and execute.

    Kids these days, they just don't know what's the right interactive shell. They run insane find commans, and think how smart they are.

    So many experiments cause the perceived "rules" to change when in fact the true rules of the universe never change, only our approximations and estimations of them.

    1. Try defining "true rules of the universe" without using tautologies.
    2. Understand that there are no "true rules" when using the scientific method.

    C++ can have garbage collection plugged in.
