Usually it's not the file losses that are the worst, but rather the privacy of the information stored in your computer. People spend much more time fighting off against unwarranted charges on their billing / credit card than fixing the problems caused by either a virus or an anti-virus..
If you bought your PS3 in a 'reputed' store, they will not make you much trouble and refund you, even the games you bought provided you still have the receipts, and then sony will be blasted for the return.
I did my share of testing, made known of my concerns and took a stand on the forums. I did a few suggestions, but by then I was not enjoying playing the game at all. I was mostly hoping to help find bugs, which was not really possible anymore. Every idiot could then complaint and flame on the forums...
So I did what was best for both me and them, I stopped it at that, but not before encouraging them by buying a copy of the game. Early monetary support is often much more important than one more guy getting flamed on the forums.
So, again, why should I have kept playing if I had no fun in it ? Did I gave them my soul for entering the beta or something ?
bought it to support them, played a while but stopped for 6 months since it was too unbalanced and not buggy enough to warrant beta testing, and just came back to it a few days ago. The game has progressed a lot and it's very fun to play:)
Lets say you buy a nice sporty car, lets say a BMW at around 350HP. You've been using it for a while, and then your dealer tells you you can get an extra 50HP by applying a software patch, but it will cost you 2000$.
Well, they've been doing such a thing for a while, and people are actually quite happy with this.. because they got the car as it was advertised in the first case, and those extra HP are well worth the price of the patch and the engine warranty reduction (or whatever..)
Looking at the content VS preventing a rooting of your phone is 2 different things. I'd be happy if they just did the later. Anyway, I don't own one myself (but I support ipods/iphones as a platform for my tools)
Did you not so read the summary to miss the 'home or home office' part ?

If you say it 3 times in a row while looking in a mirror you will die!!
I went 30 inch dell 2560x1600 over 3 years ago for less than 1K. I though it was a bargain. And now multiple of those is what I use :)
They should not even have used .66 ... .67 would have been much better :)

An eula that you 'agree to forcefully' to use a device you bought can't overwrite any laws...
I didn't buy a PS3 but I was close to .. if I had, I would totally be getting a full reimbursement over the recent changes.
Trying to make a funny name like gigatiPod or whatever for a device already called iPad is totally futile!
Try looking at your monitor sideways!
Unless the enemy sniper fails at shooting and randomly hit you =)
At least that would have been funny!
me.com can be used to wipe your iphone.
Apple owns me.com.
Apple can wipe your iphone.
Pretty straight forward for me :) Just need a stray web admin and he could have some fun I'd guess =)
What's worst is that what they are doing is blattant stealing, and is totally punishable by law. When you find something, it doens't become yours.
We are all aliens to him, perhaps ?
never saw google news ?
I would not do yours for anything, seeing the result.
I made a nice line yet got no points. I guess they weren't thight enough or they just never plugged in the points calculation :)
Have you ever driven a manual transmission car ??
Started out with

I think I'd go with this for a car analogy.

Was that supposed to be funny ? Sarcastic ? Or are you really trying to bring this down with people beliefs ?
Why is there a 'then'. It should be done instantly, else you ain't a real one!
