    Just a quick question.. If I want to buy a CD in the Netherlands, I can listen to it so I can decide if I like it. Is this different in other countries? I don't know of any recordstore where you can't listen to CDs..

    heard of this too.. apparently the Waterbird (I don't remember the name, so I'll assume the previous poster was correct) relied heavily on the wing-in-ground effect. The principle is that a wing with a large surface-are created an aircushion below the plane to provide the lift, which turns out to be quite efficient, more efficient than 'pure' flight, leaving more power for propulsion. The russian craft was used for cargo. Other 'planes' that use this are a.o. the Flarecraft.
    I think the flarecraft doesn't even count as an aeroplane, but as a ship because it can't get much higher than 10m from the surface (usually water, but like a hovercraft this isn't necessary)

    Not that I agree with it, but it's at least defendable that the DVD contains more material than the same movie on tape. Now the other way round would be harder.. a tape contains only part of what's on a DVD..

    if there would be any clause about a change in price for PH when the rocket exploded, it would be that in case of an explosion PH would have to pay extra. an exploding rocket will generate more viewers, will appear on more news shows, and will be shown several dates, while the inquiry on why the thing exploded runs.

    cos rude word filters don't work. Need some ASSistance? or am I harASSing you? And you can really insult someone using perfectly innocent words, or use rude words in a non-insulting manner. Not to mention slang words with several meanings. like in dutch 'binnenvaartschipper' which is usually a riverboatcaptain, but can also mean a male homophile person in a certain context.

    but as usual I have no point to make..

    Yes, a great precedent.. WE definitely need a lot more laws restricting companies. I know I do.
    Spam should be opt-in only.
    phone solicting: also opt-in only. and make it mandatory to reveal the phone-number used.
    rights are for people, not artificial entities.

    What if instructions for growing hemp for pot, instructions to turn it into pot, and getting the best crop are in MP3 format? Could it be used against Napster and the likes? I know there is at least one such song, although it's in dutch (surprise.. ;). search for "Nederwiet" by "Doe Maar".
