I can see that, when I saw the AMD logo it perked my interest. I was hoping AMD was breaking into the graphics market.

I am wondering the same thing? Is it an error with the slashdot posting system or is it an error by the writer. We may never know.

  4. Credit Checks? on Dealing with Employers Who Perform Credit Checks? · · Score: 1

Why should an employer need to know my personal financial situations. There should be no reason for an employer to have to know what kind of credit problems I have had in the past. The only reason you should give anyone any sort of allowance for a credit check is in the case of if you will end up owing them anything. That is stupid.

I absolutly agree. There should be no reason that we consumers are being attacked for using what we pay for. I pay roughly $50 a month just for an internet service that gets more and more restricted every day. I think that someone needs to develop a new service for those of us that dont like the unfair treatment of our current ISPs.

Yes, but madsenj37 has a point. Many consumers buy Intel chips because of many different reasons. One of those reasons is the fact that Intel chips tend to last longer under heavy use and feature a few options like overheat protection. The average computer user doesnt upgrade their system as often as us geek/gamer/techies do. I do not necessarily mean that Intel makes a better chip, they merely make a chip that lasts longer. I, for one, use AMD chips in my system because they have a bigger punch for the buck.
