    they will decide that the only thing that is safe in the kids domain, is disney, toys r us, and walmart. Commercialze the kids, and quickly. Pretty soon the law will be that if you aren't 18 then you have to serf in a particular domain. or maybe im full of it.

    what they should do is stretch it to 24 hours, and then mix it with a repeating 2 minute symphony compressed symphony so that are overlaid upon each other. that way, they will average out to the normal speed lol

    actually. if these people are not after money, then this would be a great computer to work out simulations for social dynamics, alternatice economic system theory, etc.

    The point being, if you are creaticve, you could find quite a few interesting things to do.

    a super beowulf cluster, that is.

    ie. where each beouwulf cluster is set to solve a particular problem. once done it sends the answer(s) to other beouwulf clusters, in accordance to the master plan by the Big-CHEESe beowulf cluster, the BRAIN, if you will. In this way, the entire package of beouwulf clusters can work together as a super Beowulf Cluster, or Super Bluster for short.(more on that later)

    pop-ups use my bandwidth, my computer, my software, and my electricity for free. That is theft. It will remain theft until I sign an agreement that gives them the right to access my resources.

    People will start to upgrade their computers again within the year, as their computers get bogged down with spyware such as Kazaa's Brilliant, cometcursor, gator etc. (im not cool enough to include links)

    Most people remain ignorant of it, and their computer's performance is continually decreasing. Eventually they will upgrade their computer.

    Also most people have every single program they install create a quick start, memory-hogging icon in windows.

    Here's my two cents. Hardware companies certainly can benefit from the proliferation of spyware etc. Is their a partnership?

    oh yeah if you have spyware, get adaware from lavasoft. Again i dont feel like making a link. Its easy enough to find.

    However, while the employer should not expect it for free, another's sins doesn't effect the morality of you own actions. If he wishes to offer his services for free, well that is all that matters.

    Thank you for pointing that out. The world needs more p[eople like you. It isn't all about money. While he was unemployed for five months, that does not mean he is hurting for money. Besides, doing good for someone, with no expectations in return, can be very enlightening for both parties.

    Retarded probably. But hey I am an optimist, and a little desperate for a free intelligent society. The internet broke so many established rules, opened so many eyes, and so many movements, ie.it definitely helped the open source movement. There is so much potential in it. And I fear that if it dies away, we, the people will never get another chance to break out of this shit hole world we live in, that is, before it all breaks down on its own.

    The future of music finds its home in the future of Wi-fi? Lilly-pad a wireless network in a city , and broadcast local music. Hey thats cheap. I know, routing routing routing. Problems there. But Im sure we can do it.

    But hello, an alternative net of lilly pads would has so many interesting possibilities. Cheap broadcasts of music being one of them. Streaming local music would be even easier because the network is probably more efficient locally.
