... are emotions too. Emotions often provoked by games. But usually when people start to talk about emotion and games it's about emotional attachment to characters (love/hate stuff). But come on... it's virtual reality, it's entertainment, why should I feel anything about those characters, they're not real (just like the characters in books and movies).
If you have time reading/. then why isn't Exchange operating properly? I still can't sync my PDA or log in through owa. Because of you slacking I can't do much right now. The only thing I can do is read/. and wait for things to get fixed.
If they are using eclipse then why do they ship a binary installer? Why not use the Eclipse feature installation system or even a archive that contains the feature/plugin stuff. It's not that difficult. Nobody cares for flashy installers.
... unless it has been explicitly released in public domain or was created before Mickey Mouse was created. The difference is having permission to distribute copyrighted material. Does Google Video contain copyrighted material? Of course it does, but is the copyright violated is the important question. That question can only be answered by the copyright holder.
Sorry, not buying it. Every time somebody claims that the UK is so much more expensive than the rest of the EU I can't find any proof that backs up that statement. A GP gave a list of the costs in the Netherlands. Now show us where the UK is so much more expensive. And don't come with the house prices in central London. A house in central Amsterdam is also way more expensive than the average housing price.
How is Creative Commons a party in this case? Because they provided a collection work words that make up a text labeled as License? Why isn't Flickr being sued? Or the company that made the ad. Or the company that did the catering during the creation of the ad.
Yes it does. GPL does not cover anything for the user end, only distributer side. But the MS PL contains this (first line):
This license governs use of the accompanying software. If you use the software, you accept this license. If you do not accept the license, do not use the software.
As user of GPL software (or any other free software) you don't have to agree with a license for normal usage. A lot of software incorrectly show a "agree/disagree" window for Free Software.
Compatibility is subject to interpretation. If MS-PL is OSI approved it will be the only OSI approved license that restrict usage of software covered under that license. One of the core elements of Free Software is that (normal) users are not restricted. So for compliance, MS-PL restricts usage and it thus not compatible with the idea of Free Software.
Get shot? wth!? Everything for promised safety right? You know what, "terrorist" should use kill switches on their suicide bombs just to teach those people with itchy trigger finger a lesson.
It was written using a remote controlled non explosive pencil on an environment safe piece of paper in an bunker on a remote location. The writing speed was one letter per hour and the operator was located in an other timezone.
So I think it's safe to say it was very carefully written.
iirc all of them have FTP support. But that's all irrelevant. I use WinSCP and open my favorite editor to edit the remote files. WinSCP will handle the updating of the remote files in the background.
Interesting list. I consider both UltraEdit and ACDSee as bloatware. I use Irfanview instead of ACDSee. As for UltraEdit, haven't made up my mind yet concerning a proper text editor. Currently I use PSPad, but CrimsonEditor or ConTEXT are also better than UltraEdit. And if you don't mind paying a bit, EditPlus is also much better than UltraEdit.
"It doesn't work" has never been a useful comment. Also, I don't see why an ISP should test every OS version to check if it's compatible with their network. I thought we all used the TCP/IP standard for internet stuff. And if Vista had a broken TCP/IP implementation, then why is this the first report about this? What makes this ISPs infrastructure so different?
Not all dumb people are criminals. Well, not unless being stupid is outlawed.

If you consider Linux a cancer, you can apply the same analogy to Microsoft (EA, ...)
It's spreading and infecting other software/companies...

I vote for Eikonoklastes.
Irrelevant. You can still handle registrations codes the eclipse way. If Omondo can do it, then so can Adobe.
Yes it is. Listen to your parent, didn't they teach you to respect your parent?

It's only a matter of time for a 4 digit member to pop up, quickly followed by a 3 digit member.
The problem of poor math skills. People even fuck up math when they're using a calculator.
