    it doesnt matter how many intelligent people say that DRM solutions will fail. The companies will legislate laws, the means will be circumvented, and record prices will still go up to pay for the creation of new DRM tech. no one wins, but the rich get richer.

    i think the ultimate entity responsible is the company that makes the flawed program. If there is no bug, there is no code exploiting the bug on a website. the bug exists and can be exploited, whether the code is posted or not.

    I really disagree with most forms of patriotism, as they tend to be excuses to descriminate against some people for some silly reason. If the US banned everything with a bias against the US, the US would be no different than any other freedom restricting regime, like China. china seems nice, I'm sure they have less crime and they have plenty of cheap movies and software, but I prefer to have freedom

    check out the movie koyaaniqatsi, in keeping with equilibrium. there are no words, just video of earth and human ants going about their routine. and it was filmerd in the late 70's, so everyone's clothes and cars are so funny looking

    I was in AZ in early Sept. and I was suprised by the arid land, but I found out from a farmer that the free range cattle farms often have a minimum of 40 acres per head of cattle. I wonder how much resources are used to feed all the animals we humans eat. Actuaqlly, I probably don't.

    pink floyd made the wizard of oz match dark side of the moon, and the lesser know match up of the song Echoes with the movement of 2001: A Space Odyssey. It starts when Dave is shooting through space in the suit, and continues to the end of the film if i remember correctly. and i'm sure some other things helped...
