You cant compare the psp to the gamegear. The gamegear took 6 AA Alkaline batteries and lasted 1 and a half hours. thats a lot of cash. how many kids can afford that much batteries, i know i wasnt able to.
If the gamegear came with a rechargable battery like the PSP I am sure it would have been much much more successful. much more.
Here in Kuwait I use a Satellite/DSL combo. I download via satellite at speeds of 1Mbps and upload via dSL at a speed of 256kb. Price for my broadband is approx $120 US.
i think the biggest doubt is weather the 15inch powerbooks will ship and not the powermacs. The rumors on the 15inch powerbook are pointing in different directions with some people saying they are boxed and ready to be shipped while other people are saying they just went into production...
wow, i used to have 1.5GB download limit per MONTH but then i upgraded to the more expensive package (i pay 150$ a month now) and i have a 3GB limit. I am in kuwait...

wow!! i got slashdoted!!!!! thats me!! that my hand and my ipod infront of the Kuwait Towers and now its on slashdot!! wooooooooooohooooooooooooooooo i am gonna show this to all my friends!!!
i was excited when safari came out. kept refreshing apples site during the keynote speech until it showed up for download and might have been the first one to download and install it.
a week later not only did i stop using it, i trashed it. after using chemira i have to say that safari just wasnt the next big thing.
