I just got a rebate check in the mail last week. When it showed up I had no clue what it was for. It turns out that it was for an external harddrive I had purchased at CompUSA a year and a half ago! The rebate check even showed that that I had filed for the rebate on 10/14/04, and the check was dated for 06/27/06! It took them a year and a half to send me my money which I had long forgotten about !

I'd love to, but going to activision.com and clicking on quake4, they ask for your birthday and a valid credit card to even view the site!
This is one of the best games I have every played. It gives you all the action of quake online, but it has a purpose instead of just running around killing people.
The dev team has been awesome. Their very straight and helpful, and always willing to hear your suggestions.
The new patch is also a huge change. The graphics improvements are amazing, it now flies on my 1.2 athlon with a geforce 3 (running gentoo).
Hopefully s2games will keep up the good work and keep supporting alternate OSes./Line72

Guess I won't be playing this one. I don't even have a Window partion. 3 computers all running Linux. At least Savage is coming out soon for linux !!
