Let's hope Dell doesn't integrate it with the rest of their "gaming" hardware, that won't even run most games.

The pain (originally) with geocities what trying to tell someone your address. It was usually something like www.geocities.com/citypark/coolgang/theeliteguys/3 847. Then I found tripod, which not only had a whopping 11 MB of space, but also let you have an address like myname.tripod.com or www.tripod.com/~myname. Oh, and all this gets subverted by $3.95/Month shared hosting which gives you a gig of space, no ads and more bandwidth than you can shake a stick at. As well as mysql, phpbb, gallery2, and a bunch of other tools.

What if my store is in a 2 storey building with no elevator? Do I have to get an elevator installed to service people who are unable to use the stairs? What if I don't have any disabled customers, because I sell a product that people who are unable to climb up stairs would be unlikely to use? What if putting in an elevator would cost $10,000. Should I still required to put in an elevator on the off chance that a disabled person comes into my store? Even If there's no chance I will ever recoup my costs of putting in said elevator?

I'm pretty sure there are ways around that security setting. Either by buffer overflow or some other means. The fact that the activex module exists and the number of exploits out there makes me very uneasy, even with little checkboxes for security.

It isn't really the tieing together of IE with Explorer that causes the security problems. As another poster mentioned, Konquerer can be used as both a file manager and a web browser. What causes problems is that IE is able to start executable(activeX) without user intervention, and the fact that IE is integrated so tightly with the Operating system.

You can usually lock non-flip phones so that you don't dial them while in your pocket. Most non-flip phones I've seen had a much stronger screen than flip-phones in order to protect it from being scratched. If you're still paranoid, get a case.

You don't. It's really hard. If you know the author and which section it's in it can be done, but I find that finding a book by title, in a large bookstore (Chapters (i'm in canada)) can be quite difficult. Maybe they should have a computer system that tells you where the book is in their store instead of just being hooked up to their website.

Even if I turn up the volume all the way on my portable mp3 player, I don't feel like i'm doing any damage to my ears, whereas with earbuds, I usually don't turn the volume above 2/3 of the maximum.
