    not true, Stock market and business will act on expectations of future which is what is happening here with Trump in office. Of course over time we'll get into what you are interested in, what results Trump's actions will have and yes for many things the time delay will be years and for some things over a decade

    Audiences for the modern movies have much shorter attention span, inferior vocabulary, and are easily pleased with cheap thrills. Also the "lemon" scenes in Hollywood movies have much less variety than those old Greek poems, if movies were made with some of the erotic stuff of old they'd be banned and burned by 90% of our liberals.

    in 2013 geologists said the thing probably had decades left, but when a geologist says something will happen to a rock formation in timeframe that is anything less than thousand years...well that's the same as saying "very soon and any time now"

    The arch was remains of caves that collapsed, and also being made of limestone not surprising the rest of it was doomed.

    Sure there are exceptionally gifted females in science and math BUT

    Real data around the world not made by agenda driven people shows girls on average do better in reading while boys do better in math. Right now researchers are trying to prove that's because of "subconscious discouragement" and other environmental factors. But maybe the difference really is biological.

Let's take a typical hyperconverged server my employer uses with 8 six core Xeon processors, how many of your USB powered ARM servers will it take to equal that? A row of racks?

    Stupid assertion, of course it is relevant when they can fire a person hired for a full time job who doesn't work the time. When the employer wants a full time employee, they get one and have legal backing to fire anyone who doesn't work full time. That's how the USA works and that will not change any time soon.

    Bringing up pre-1940s is irrelevant.

    hahaha, there are HUGE reasons why you can't make a modern color CRT screen, utterly beyond anything a hobbyist could ever hope to do. You should look up what is inside one and what tolerances are needed. That takes tens of millions of dollars worth of equipment.

  24. No, the problem is in the freezing, fractures happen to samples bigger than 3cm across. It's why cryopreservation of dead humans is a farce, they're made into a mass of meat nuggets by the process.

    Not a solved problem at all.
