    learn how the electoral college works, WA and CA already had the democrats win. voting count there irrelevant. they will send democrat reps to the electoral college to vote for Hillary who will lose because there are more EC reps voting for Trump than Hillary

    you're funny, I wasted 2 hours yesterday downloading hundreds of megabytes of "drivers" for my relative's windows box (3 driver all total). Windows didn't have the "drivers".

    I don't have to do that for my Linux and BSD machines.

    it does when it fucks up and rolls the computer back to halfway into the boot sequence. It also does when some arcane systemD error keeps the UI from ever starting.

    I have android phone, use google mail for some things (monitoring alerts) and of course google play for free apps..but I won't give them credit card number.

    You're half right, because Ubuntu 16.04 has that diseased systemD crap in it. Mint 17.3 is as good as it's going to get. I favor BSD for servers but maybe it's time in next couple years I move to it for desktop too, before the 17.3 is EOL

    Making a desktop look like Windows 10 is hardly the requirement for a replacement. Can it run Windows software, or replacements for them in a way no other linux distro could? I think we know the answer, hell no.

    you are assuming manned craft with that enormous mass? that's not what a working EM drive would be doing. Instead fission reactors 100kg to a ton driving a craft of not much more weight (control, sensors and com being mass of a few smart phones) needing power only ocassionally over years as they pass through Martin Lo's "Interplanetary Superhighway" (lagrange point created paths of opportunity) to explore deep solar system

    The dewars need topping off as they lose nitrogen every couple weeks, and the vacuum has to have pump attached about as often to maintain. This will not be done over 50 years, let alone centuries. All the corpses will rot when the company goes under or there is natural disaster that prohibits resupply of nitrogen or running vacuum pumps
