    which are on sale now but note the list price is $35 for that 8 pack

    you've proven exactly nothing, replying to a six-pack price in local store (which is accurate) with an Amazon special for an 8 pack for which standard shipping to center of the USA happens to be $9, for a total of $23

    nonsense, it is very troublesome to immigrate a foreigner. a company is under no obligation to do so, and the salary indeed was "good money for an Indian". no one has to explain anything, and in the future maybe Oracle should just save itself the troubles and hire domestically

    not at all relevant when someone is not legally entitled to work in the USA. A U.S. firm can certainly refuse to hire a foreigner with no right to work here

    since the authors of python don't do proper unit and regression test and maintain backward compatibility, the 2.4, 2.5, 2.6 and 2.7 ARE DIFFERENT LANGUAGES! Its past time for open source wares (including the LInux kernel ABI) to get some maturity already in the realm of backwards compatibility, open source could go more places if it had that.

    the oort cloud goes from about 0.08 lightyears to .8 light years out, and contains trillions of water blobs larger than 1 km in diameter (also various ammonia and methane and other hydrocarbon ones)

    how many gun deaths and violent crimes are there in areas that forbid people the means to defend themselve, such as Chicago?

    Note Chicago is a gun-free zone legally (courts told them recently they had to implement permit system but they're dragging their heals on it)

    Note what happens in most areas where concealed carry is implemented, initial spike of justifiable homocides followed by lower crime rate.
