  1. Security through obscurity is not secure at all.

    Do you run your home computer without a firewall? Of course a firewall is useful keeping things out but they also let things out from within.

    Yep, I remember when 8 came out, my boss was all jazzed on it because his stock app was in a widget, I told him I thought the whole OS was crap and that they took a powerful desktop and made it into a useless phone app. He scoffed, ff to today, he hates Windows 8 cause he can't figure it out.

  5. If nothing else turn them in to the EPA when they have a firefight. I'm sure there is something in EPA regs about lead pollution.

  6. I think what most are missing here, is that let's say Microsoft burst in they're a corp right? Do they have the right, the authority to bust into a home? If not and it doesn't apply to MS then what pretense does that private SWAT team have? If the money comes from public money and they are run by police or contracted by the local gov, then private corp status is moot.

    Blackwatch was a private security firm, they still had to answer for what they did.

    And the largest component that consumes gas and hp, THE AC!

    I had a Geo Metro I really miss that car. Couldn't hardly get out of it's own way from a standstill at a stop light, but once you got em rolling they really rolled. Mine would shake like Scotty was pushing it warp 9 until it got over 90 mph then it smoothed right out. $4 in gas would get me back and forth to work for a week.

    The drug of choice was called Slo-mo and altered ones perception of time. In one scene it made someone falling from a height that would have taken maybe 20 seconds seem like hours.
