Can't comment on the England having more terrorist issues than the US, but I'll take your word for it.

I just recently learned that Russia has a far worse problem with it than we do here in the US. I can easily believe that of all countries we have less of an issue with terrorism than the rest of the world.

So while they spin this as "you'll get through screening quicker" what they really want is background checks on nearly everyone that travels by plane.

Fucking seriously let's save all that tax money and the tax money being wasted now, and just racially profile. What's the fucking problem?

On the other side of that, I have not flown commercially since before 9/11 and don't plan on it anytime soon.

More a slant on how our media is operating these days.

Growing up I knew who Margaret Thatcher was, she was constantly in our news making headlines. We never heard anything of Sir John, we know who Tony Blair was, Gordon Brown and David Cameron we've never heard of.

Kind of illustrates a pattern in our media. Most likely the only reason we know Tony Blair was the fact he was PM at the time Princess Diana passed.

Currently the FAA Reform Act of 2012 http://www.gpo.gov/fdsys/pkg/CRPT-112hrpt381/pdf/CRPT-112hrpt381.pdf is the only place that specifically cites what "model sized" aircraft need COA's and which are exempt. Currently anything rc flown line of sight under 400 ft flown for recreation or hobby purposes is considered regulated under FAA Circular AC 91-57. Other than the 2012 reform act no mention anywhere can be found documenting public entities or commercial entities using rc for other than hobby purposes.

It is thought this act was pushed through the rule making process and was not open to public comment the required period.

The current case of the FAA attempting to fine an rc pilot under the Reform Act of 2012 is being fought by alleging the Reform Act failed to follow the Administrative Procedures Act which sets Federal guidelines for regulation making. As such if it is found that they bypassed practice to push this regulation is unenforceable.

Seriously some perspective here. As a parent why in hell am I going to worry about my kids health when she's in her 60's? No doubt I'll be dead and gone then. When my kid was 5 I never worried what their life would be like when they were in their golden years, hell that was 55 years away from then.

I suggest to prevent your child getting Alzheimers you spend less time worrying about their state of mind when they reach old age and more time worrying about their long journey there.

It would suck to take precautions to prevent them from having that later in life, and have the kid snuff it before even getting there.
