The trick is having a good, comfortable headphone set I have Sennheiser 570s. DragonDictate is far superior to GameCommander. Voice macros take some time but you figure out which ones you want to create as you learn the game. Shogun was one of my favorite voice gaming experiences. Homeworld 2 and Rise of Nations along with many many others have also been good to me. I'm pretty good with the mouse though which means the poster's mileage may vary
Shogun is the best one. Best atmosphere, best audio, best performance. I'm disabled and Shogun has one other nifty feature: it plays nice with DragonDictate so voice macros can be executed.
Visually pleasing breakout game from Reflexive Entertainment. They have a community of level makers so it's nearly infinite gameplay as far as your natural interest is concerned.
The last suggestion is Swarm from Reflexive Entertainment, again. The only reservation that I have with Swarm is that there are very fine sudden movements required of a much different kind than the first two suggestions. Try it.
So when linux reaches critical mass and people spend as much time searching for/writing worms for it as they do for windows, how's that support ration going to look?
Considering that Linux is not monoculture and Linux machines never run as root the way Windows machines do, the support ratio will not change. Cisco's internal distribution might be monoculture but how do you suppose virus writers will figure out company changes? They won't.
Virus and general malicious software is difficult to write when everyone is running Linux. People will continue to try but only the hardcore. Script kiddies, in contrast, would become extinct.
What country are you in? Corporations don't pay taxes in addition to their many other benefits as "people." That's part of the problem. They have a million loopholes to get out of taxes.
If I purchase Office, run it under WINE and want to update it, I'm screwed -- yet I am a legit customer of Microsoft.
Ok, I have moderator points and I'm inclined to mark you as a troll but I know how it feels to get modded down for an opinion. Answer this: How many people are using Linux and a legitimate copy of Office?
Why use Microsoft Office at all when you have accepted the concept of Open Source Software? OpenOffice does the same stuff and performs significantly better under Linux than anything running under Wine or Crossover.
I'd imagine that there would be a clear screen button. If not, you at least could have a hotkey on your kb to switch to a picture of a puppy or something.
Maybe not but people would more easily absorb "Microsoft licenses cost neighborhood police officers" and quickly extrapolate what proprietary software does to them and there children in real terms. People don't listen to technical arguments.
It's a mistake to associate the acquisition of knowledge with peace and goodwill. It's more likely the the acquisition of knowledge in the developing world will lead to more violence and oppression because the developing world didn't have to go through the experience of actually developing anything. We hand them technology will the expectation that great things will happen. Great things might happen but great doesn't equate to good.
Looks like Mr. Cole got a can of whoopass opened on him with the Department of Justice question. Does time move in Europe or was Einstein the only one that figured that out?
Beautiful. Appreciate the info. Something people should be aware of is that the stupid "Clear Type Tuner" doesn't work in FireFox. The Javascript error says "blah ^ 3, this works only in XP."
Well... FireFox works in XP. What the hell is Microsoft's problem taking their OS warfare into a subsystem of a subsystem?

Alien Sky from Kraisoft. Awesome Galaga remix.

it's called "Windows XP". There are other names. "Millennium" is the worst.
Whatever the New York Times writes about seals after the buyout, they'll have stolen it from somebody else.

just shake it.

Plastic.
It's really that simple.
is nowhere nearly as efficient as helping none of us.

No kidding. Would you like a medal?
No. It's lower than that. There are a few Indian dudes ahead of you.
And how long ago was that? The space program has severe atrophy.
How about sending someone to space first?
200 miles up doesn't qualify.
This story? In which country?
Frequently Unlawful Computer Knowledge.
Soccer was once played by 9 year old girls here. Now they are all grown oiled up lesbians.
/me laughs out loud
Sometimes I wonder why Europeans think they can get away with lame jokes. I'd give you all my mod points if I had them.
Nonsense! It isn't French.
This is old-old-school but it's what I started with.
