I've never actually seen them, but from what I've heard they use some rare connector that can be purchased individually, but for a crazy price. And more annoyingly, its a different connector as used on the other Sennheisers.

The cables on the HD800 are removable, however as far as I know there are no aftermarket/replacement cables available yet.

There are many options available for the HD580/600/650s, including balanced cable options.

    Well, close...

There are some albums that I listen to solely because of their production - like Eric Clapton's Me and Mr. Johnson. None of the songs are that great (compared to some of the other albums he's played on), but the sound that he can get out of a guitar sucks me right in.

It is the Clapton album that sounds the best, and because of it I listen to it at least as much as his others.

I love my headphones, and I love my speakers, but they are two different beasts, and different moods and styles of music usually dictate my choice of speakers vs headphones, and which speaker or headphone to use.

I have multiple sets of both, and my favorite speakers are a set of Full-range Fostex FE206Es. They are pretty flat, but its more than just the driver that makes a speaker flat.

It might also have to do with the specific amp that I can only use with very efficient speakers. Its amazing how much volume 5 watts can get you with the right speakers.

When I saw how small the box was that they came in I thought that they were going to be crap, but they were surprisingly decent for the price and loud enough to annoy the hell out of my sister.

I would recommend pfSense or m0n0wall, but I would stay away from the Atom.. I would use one of the Intel D201GLY2 mini-itx boards with the Celeron processors, as the boards use about the same amount of power, and the Celeron will be much aster (the Atom has a terrible northbridge that results in both boards using the same amount of power).

I use m0n0wall at home with my cable modem running VOIP, lots of NNTP, and lots of torrents, without any problems. It also means that web pages load as quickly when maxing out the bandwidth as when no ones doing anything, and that ping times generally stay pretty low. My m0n0wall box also has an uptime of over 300 days, way better than I've ever been able to do with my Linksys router.

I use this computer for pretty much everything except for gaming and video encoding, and it works perfectly, playing 1080i without skipping frames.

The other is an Athlon64 5000+ Black Edition running at 3.4 Ghz, which I use for games. This computer runs an Asus M2N-32SLI motherboard, which is a top of the line AMD motherboard, and it has no fans on any of the chips on the motherboard, using purely passive methods to cool down the board. While this computer does have 3 or 4 fans, none are blowing directly over the north or south bridges.

Well, considering you linked to the article:

Technetium-99m is used in 20 million diagnostic nuclear medical procedures every year. Approximately 85 percent of diagnostic imaging procedures in nuclear medicine use this isotope. Technetium-99m is made from the synthetic substance Molybdenum-99 which is a by-product of nuclear fission. It is because of its parent nuclide, that Technetium-99m is so suitable to modern medicine. Molybdenum-99 has a half-life of approximately 66 hours, and decays to Tc-99m, a negative beta, and an antineutrino (see equation below). This is a useful life since, once this product (molybdenum-99) is created, it can be transported to any hospital in the world and would still be producing technetium-99m for the next week. The betas produced are easily absorbed, and Mo-99 generators are only minor radiation hazards, mostly due to secondary X-rays produced by the betas.
