Pity someone doesn't redevelop those travel neck cushions so that it can contain most PDA's, so if you have a really horrible and boring lecture (and no real escape) then you can close it up, wear it and avoid those nasty neck cramps while having a nice nap.
Q: How many Carnegie Mellon Ph.D.s does it take to screw in a light bulb? A: Two. One to change the bulb, and one to pull the chair out from under him.
...so I guess that should make things more interesting?
I'd love them to have a robot that emulates Bender from Futurama.
He swill champagne, enjoy a cigar or two... try and chat up the other contestants, and make some of the judges he isn't sure about have a accident or two.
Nope, there are lots of peeps who have stopped watching it, but I'll be giving it a season or two more before I fully decide.
There have been some very strong eps, but equally some crap ones.. but if you look back to TNG, their success mainly came from season 3+
As far as series go, at least Ent is fleshing out a bit better than Voyager.. but I'm still not happy that most of the Voyager peeps are helming Ent, so we'll see.
I have a big feeling that this is where the Suliban are going to play out.
Since they are so obsessed with Genetic Engineering (hmm, a connection with Khan and the Eugenics Wars), and they have a desire to destablise the Klingon Empires' stability... that could be a way for them to do so (and also corroborate Dr. Bashirs question to Worf).
By the way, rock on with the Romulan Wars on Enterprise... I can't wait to see how that plays out.
What do they think about the UK's primary services gateway being entirely a M$ shindig, especially with reports that only IE is allowed as the client browser.
With all the M$ help, and Bill Gates' trips to the UK, we'll need to start aquiring as much custard pies as possible. We know Bill loves them, especially the French varieties.
I can't remember where the original link was (so this is from memory) but didn't the US government want to have hackers help with regard to security concerns... rather than go down the 'all hackers are bad' notion.
HP have done the right thing, but was their threat a bit of sabre rattling... or an attempt to test the waters?
Either way, HP have enough on their plate with the HPaq dealings... they couldn't really have enjoyed the idea of the bad PR as well as the backlash that would have been created by following through.
Slighty offtopic I know, but just imagine if BT owned HyperLinks? Even scarier I think... especially considering their love of technology (esp. DSL lines).
Just my $0.02 (or £, but to get the sterling sign means going into character map... boy do I love US keyboards;-) )
I think Microsoft realized this when they introduced Microsoft Bob and the Paper Clip family of nuisances.
How to reduce the life of you new computer?
Develop and run the Office Assistant GUI Desktop, and after 5 minutes of being 'guided' by a paperclip, the user 'guides' their computer out of the nearest window.
a pneumatic ping-pong ball launcher
Hmm, I didn't know sex toy's were getting advanced enough to do THAT!!!! ;-P

Here's hoping that they don't mix up Kilometers with Miles.

Sounds like an album by Basement Jaxx.
Why does this issue remind me of the Simpsons ep. where Homer puts on weight so he can work from home?
All we need for this planet now is a frilly dress, a towel rank to hold the excess 'girth'... and a large gas filled container to 'plug'.

For Years eh? Did it have on off period for a while ;-)
Plus, everyone knows that water is blue, just look at the sea!
Great, more scope to control (or hide) all those pR0n downloading/watching sessions.

Pity we can't get WiFi access inside FCC HQ, with that a ghettoblaster speakered laptop, streaming the Howard Stern show out at top volume...
