With the prevalence of internet cafes in Europe.. This is based on what? I work/live in The Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and France. Internet cafe's are NOT popular in these countries... only in some big cities around places where lots of tourists/international folk hang around you will find these. Broadband coverage in these countries is extremely high.

Users much prefer the simpicity of an X.509 solution.
The simplicity of X.509? Is completly the other way around. PGP is simple:)
You probably never implemented a corporate PKI infrastructure. I myself love PKI (it's a freeking miracle I got married, I know) and have implemented or at least contributed in implementing several PKI's over the years. Simplicity is definitely not the first thing that comes to mind. Things like OCSP and CRL's you need to check the validity of a key, basically everything around issuing keys, key-escrow etc. it is al pretty complicated. Not nescecairly the theory, but the actual implementation and integration. Plus not to mention expensive. And don't even get me started on the legal side of it, the contracts you need, the legal requirements, webtrust etc.etc.. Brrrrrrr.
PKI is cool, has a lot of potential etc. Put it's not simple in anyway. Microsoft may make it look simple (did I just say that?), by basically "trusting" loads of CA's defaultly but how much is that trust worth exactly? Not much in my eyes. Oke, the encryption during transit... that should be ok. But is the signer of that email really who he says he is?
Between me, my friends and my colleguae's we use GPG. Bunch of my friends are on Mac's like me others are on Linux or BSD flavored machines. Some even use Windows. I don't even know al the plug-ins everyone uses. Hell, I don't know the name of mine. It integrated with Apple Mail and I just press the buttons etc, type in my passphrase and it works. Simple. Plus the keys I trust, I explicitly trusted by hand. Basically this kind of trust is loads better then accepting any mail certificate issued by the Verisigns of the world.
I tried all sorts of things, but keep getting this message, without any results:

Tsukuba University engineering professor Yoshiyuki Sankai developed HAL to help its operator perform tasks a normal human would not be strong enough to perform otherwise, according to the web page of Sankai's venture company Cyberdyne.
Wait a minute... Cyberdyne? WTF? Remember these guys?
1984-1991 Cyberdyne Systems Corporation is formed to study the uncovered remains of the Terminator and further cybernetic and artificial intelligence research. Miles Dyson serves as the chief inventor responsible for a revolutionary new CPU. Miles Dyson helps see to the destruction of his work after persuasion from Sarah Connor. John is attacked by a new Terminator model the T-1000 which can mimic anything it physically samples. His protector, a reprogrammed T-800 is destroyed after the T-1000 dies a fiery death.

Obviously dial-up will have a smaller ARO because you won't be permantly online and can't be "attacked" when you are offline (not counting old-school boot-floppy viruses). I guess having less bandwith would have some minor effect on ARO as well.
So yes, dial-up reduces the change of certain attacks. Altough email viruses are obviously not effected by it. It just takes longer before you have the virus downloaded:D
I've been running (somehow) Front Row on my pre iSight iMac G5 and Powerbook and it plays everything that Quicktime plays. Which in my case means DIVX, XVID, MPEG's etc. Even JPEG's and GIF's are displayed.
"Neuros has published the specs for a development board it calls the first prototype, and has asked hackers, open-source software authors, and others to review and weigh in on the design, which is expected to be finalized in the near future."
This is the brilliant design philopshy that will make it a wannahave for every trend consious teenager or non-geek!
If you want to beat a MP3 player, make a better MP3 player. I mean the only thing that's going to beat the iPod in my opinion is a MP3 player that has the same quality as the iPod, at least the same features, works with iTunes, is priced about the same, but has it's own really cool innovative design. I mean, how hard can it be? It's a white box with a rotary dial for god sakes.
I do use Tiger and Safari, but it didn't work on my system. Primarily because in Safari > System Preferences > General, I Unchecked the check box that automatically open's up Safe files, which includes archives (which I do not consider safe).
Another thing I did, was to redirect downloads to a special download folder which has a special Folder Action attached that scans new files for viruses and then changes new files permissions to "No Access" (even if there are no viruses). If I want to open/read a downloaded file I have to change it permissions to read/write, for which I made a single-click Apple script that I dragged in the Finders top bar thingie. Ok I'm slightly paranoid, mainly because IT security is my thing (btw the reason why I switched to Mac OS X last year), But it works.
I've been using 2 networked Mac's at home for 2 years now (powerbook, ibook, wlan, ethernet), but never seen this Bonjour stuff. Always connect directly to my samba server etc. Oh wait maybe my Airport talks bonjour?
Well actually plain paper is taxed indirectly. Companies in the Netherlands pay taxes for owning copy machines. They are actually taxed even if they don't own a copy machine.
Adding mouse buttons? They should be removing buttons instead of adding them. Get rid of all those arcane input devices like mice and keyboards. I want brainwave control!
Does it come with a stardrive?

Here is the Mac link: http://macgpg.sourceforge.net/ . Loads of GUI GPG tools.

Wow never knew that! Did these "Others" happen to crash land on a obscure earth Island??

This why I use my SonyEricsson K700i and Salling Clicker as a remote. If you google you can find Front Row Salling Clicker scripts.

Jobs, eat yer hart out!
But why not cut out the middle-man? We don't need "the music industrie" for on-line music do we?
Artist -> Online shop -> Customer makes more sense to me.
The online shop (iTunes for instance) could take care of the marketing as well.
Rokr is limited to 100 songs. No matter how much memory you put in it. http://www.engadget.com/entry/1234000570057877/
So what made you buy Tiger in the first place? You could have figured out the specs of these features before you bought it.
