So now I'll have the Verizon Access Manager, the Boingo tool, several VPN clients... How long until it all crashes... How stable can it be if it only runs on...
"It's pitch black when it hits ice and it kind of discolors the ice and hangs off of it," Brower said. He saw some jellyfish tangled up in the stuff, and someone turned in what was left of a dead goose -- just bones and feathers -- to the borough's wildlife department.
Wow, this is exactly like The Raft from Creepshow 2. If I remember right the blob in the lake ate a bird too!
I was thinking the same thing...
What if more and more of Steven King's creations start showing up?
If I see a clown, I'm outta here
See Sputnik... It only weighed 186 pounds and needed an 280 Metric ton launch vehicle...
The fuel alone will cost more than $2k.
Hmm... Big Model Rockets.... Nope...
I believe the record altitude for model rocketry is just under 20,000 feet (Gates). A little short of space
I'm also pretty sure they spent more than $2k to build it as well..
All in all a neat little marketing gimick.

Not only is the stress of driving and owning a car that costs way too much to maintain in its glisteney state gone, but I lost ten pounds and save about a thousand a month.--...only to be replaced by the stress of walking 64 miles on the Garden State Parkway each way to work.
Seriously, I'm now very torn... I want to buy a hybrid because I'm sick of filling my car 3 times a week, but I have fallen deeply in love with the 05 Mustang GT...
This case has been out for over a year. I bought one last winter, and threw together a HTPC running MythTV. I love it. I needed more space then 2 HDs, so I mounted 3 drives in another machine, and shared/mounted them via nfs(and another via samba)
Mandrake is a RPM based system as is redhat. I used to run mandrake, and used redhat rpms to install. I haven't run mandrake in a few years, but I imagine things haven't changed that much.

Both Winrunner and Loadrunner are excellent for this type of testing. You can have them run through the site as an actual user would. You can also test your app's load handling ability (which is also based on the hardware). It has a learning curve, but any good web guy can figure out the interface with a little playing.
Kind of like logging snort output to a mysql db, and running nessus on anything you find thats questionable, but without the mega dollar outlay for software.
My neighbor was a flight attendent on flight 93 that day. She was the sweetest lady. When I was a kid, she flew the hawaii route, and every week when she'd come home she'd bring me bags and bags of nuts.
Although she never had any kids of her own, we, the neighborhood kids were hers.
I'll gladly pay a company if they put the work in to "packaging".
This is America Jack. Start your own company and set your own prices. The beautiful thing about Linux, is if you do't like RH prices, but like their packaging system, buy mandrake. Or stay with SUSE, it's your right.
You can get the Lite-On 40x cd-rw for around $70. The cool part is on their website you can download a flash upgrade to make it a 48x burner.
48x cd-rw for $70 is a good deal

Starting at TWO. You have to figure on at least a homepage change and a Yahoo toolbar.

They invited the world to download several Mb of data from their servers.
They are Masochistic...
I honestly have to ask if they even thought of the ramifications before hand.
