    Why per month? couldnt they just purge when it hit 32000 and continue fine, who cares if they loose the previous changes, back it up to a massive text file report.

    They should have had a gracefull recovery/continue, unless the software tech support was on holiday in Phuket

    Compare the price of one 747 refuel, that would pay for 1gig of ram in 1989.

    The ram limitation is in the server database, not client software. Surely they could afford to spend alittle more dont you, its not like they run out of fuel over the pacific do they.

    Its just called CHEAP-ASS[tm] management. If they could, they would water down the fuel with anything, but its illegal.

    And surely they could have recompiled the server software to support unsigned 16bit back in 1999.

    This is all a symptom of Mr Manager doing cost cutting and getting great bonuss'

    Well, pitty even my recovery programs couldnt restore a currupted/crashed HD. But a continous format running for 28hrs nonestop with random writes is a sure good way.

    Or why not just pull the HD out, and store it and grandmas!!! or anywhere safe, or even post it uber long distance so it takes 6 weeks to come back to you, long enough to be 'away' and not 'findable'.

    If I format a HD, and fill it with random 1s and 0s , you cannot recover what has been deleted, if you could, then you can store 400gig on my 200gig HD.

    Besides, a better trick is to 'trick' the FEDs into thinking its NOT been formated, when it has been, ie just randomize write garbage over the movie files so they CANNOT be played, then simply having filesnames is not illegal if they cannot be played at all.

    more like a lot of geologists didnt study ANY astronomy at all, there are very few scientists skilled at both sectors.

    And they have prooved that the moons orbit does effect the land like tides, they did GPS measurements and found the land does indeed move, but you cannot see/feel it.

    But dude, please do a statistical analysis of all quakes vs moon positions and get back to me.

    100s billions in corproate welfare
    100s of billions in farm subsidies
    100s of billions wasted in interest payments on even more horrid debt.

    The only reason why people are poor is that most people gets funneled into PROPERTY and SHARES, instead of REAL work. If this pyramid game of shares/property wasnt there and the prices were fair, then there would be billions more being spent on real investments, not another "throw millions at this 15% return fund"

    AIDS was man made so go talk to your local govt official.

    "The panels got dusty because of wind blow dust around the planet"

    So which is it?

    But we do know mars gets dusty as wild storms do happen, but we havent seen that in any camera footage this year.

    Dude, spring loaded mechanisms, your "ARM" them when you have power, and 'click them' off when your running low, but not on zero.

    Ever heard of light weight composits, or plastics or anything, it doesnt need to be strong or thick, just enough to brush of dust well. Or vibrate the damn thing using those things that xbox controllers have and phones have.

    weight??? Havent they heard of PLASTICS?? I am sure wipers , even if made of aluminum could not possibly be more than a few ounces or 1/2 a pound. Come on where are these so called rocket scientists, design something light weight spring loaded plastic thingy... even a damn BRUSH attached to a robot arm, and train the CPU/program on earth to learn to brush its dust off. How hard would that be? Oh i forgot, its up to management to approve it.

    What I hated was minimum transfer speeds of 5kbs or 15 kbs , if you dropped for one second below that rate, then your cut off, totally utter crap code coded by utterly useless C grad drop outs. Any smart person would add a average over last 30minutes value, and if it drops below 10% of the MARK for more than 10 minutes.

    Every year with inflation, or currency trade markets, your dollars in your wallet and bank are devalued.

    That is partial THEFT, because really, you have less purchasing power, ie, you really buy less for what you have. Now a small decrease of 4-7% might be not too noticeable for one year, but do it continously and after 20 years, you have devalued by 80%+. Now that is DAMN stealling in my book and its 100% legal because the smart govt/financial people KNOW that things like this are too hard to comprehend for the average dumbo out there who hates maths.

    Please file a theft report with the police, "err LEO, the govt stole 20% of my money over the last 3 years, please arrest the govt bankers."

    Just as legit as MPAA suing downloaders for 'potential theft', the inflation theft is more REAL and we are all slaves to it.

    If the govt cant be fair to its citizens, then I do not respect the govt or its laws that dont agree with me.

    You cannot DEFINE a potential loss, its utterly stupid and means everyone could do it and make up stupid potentials.

    I potentially could have been earning millions, but hey... other people got in the way and ruined things so whos fault is it? Can I sue?

    You would think they would have built a wiper to sweap the dust off, or maybe some high pressure air hose or fan. Or thy could have added an ability to vibrate the dust off. We all know 'they could have' but they would have also needed approval for this, but they would not get approved because that would mean the project would run on for much longer, meaning more budget money, and no one wants a rover that last for 5 years on the surface. Its all politics, if the engineers had 100% say, they would have designed the bot to work on mars for 20-30years, even with dead batteries, just make it work in the day and smart software to know where its up to if it looses power.

    "intended orbit" and "secret orbit" are two different things, did you personally track the object your self with radar? I am sure the Pentagon/Norad did since they probly are the customers in this case.

    If you cant even trust your manager in a corporate company from screwing you over, then how can you trust the govt with its rules/secrets/blackops. And yes the govt can keep secrets, a simple presidential order saying, "if you leak, you are dead or in camp-xray" and no one will talk. Who ever tells you "the govt cant keep secrets" is most likely an agent themselves under covert ops pretending to 'work' in a normal job. Unless you grow up with someone from the age of 10 or 15, and know them inside out, you never know if anyone really is an agent. After all their job IS to be secret and feed disinformation, and if all the other little agents keep feeding the same stuff out there then their job is done, they get their $5k bonus per month.

    At the last minute they could have 'swapped' the demo sats, with a real experimental mil sat, and launched it to a good LEO with no one knowing. Maybe thats why it launced slowly, they probably loaded it up to the max or more than usual. Trust the military? no way.

    Reading the stats, the f1 was only 6.7MN, while we do today have solid rockets that do up to 14MN (shuttle boosters) I guess the point is that the F1s were the most powerfull Liquid fuel rockets. I am sure it would be feasable to strap on a 6-8 LF rockets today with two shuttle boosters to the side, and build a big long empty tube , and voila, we have a 21st C saturn 5.1 that could do the same. They can build it but they wont, because no one has paid for a project to use it. Unless the Airforce has a 'secret' version that is used for the 'secret black space station' rumored to be up there in stealth, or perhaps the secret moon base (how hard would it be to land a 3rd stage rocket softly on the moon to cut in half and make a large dome.

    yer just like in linux your either forced to update various libs or php version which triggers 30 other upgrades etc....

    and on my old 1.8ghz SDRAM box, it runs pretty well fast, maybe your machine just has crap video cards or motherboard graphics.
