    A good way to fix the US govt budget of trillions of $ would be to sack everyone and restart, maybe the monetory crash will do that for us.

    Good luck with the economy going down the toilet and each state having bilions in debt, read CA, $58b, once the current budgets get put in and states go on a massive deflation, you will see loads of services cut from cops to garbage cleaners to youth centers and libraries. You really think the courts and cops will give a toss, when they have their phones ringing like hell on heaps of 911 calls and people rioting and pillaging wallmarts? Real crimes will not get cut, the soft harmless to society crimes will get ignored, after all would cops rather go arrest a 16yo and his PCs or actually go investigate a 10-11 at 711 ?

    Cash is useless it depreciates, the USD has since 1900 depreciated 98%, and 18% in last 6 months, its worth less and less, until its WORTHLESS!!!!

    WHat Bill G will do?

    1. buy 200m worth of gold OUTSIDE USA since you cannot trust the US GOVT, and its rules are evil for delivery.

    2. buy a few gold/diamond mines.

    3. buy 300m in euro currency

    4. buy a few islands in the pacific.

    5. have lunch with warren buffet.

    I prefer 1600x, with many windows/mozilla windows, shells, etc... i prefer the highest res, and 1600x on a 15" is good for me. maybe your eyes are crap and cant handle it, but I find 1280 tooooooo small!

    Thats what I find dumb about 17" LCD screens, few are 1600x, most are 1280, yet dell makes laptops with 1600x res

    What a lot of americans get wrong is that people do not HATE america and its people, what they hate and yes many americans hate too, is the EVIL GOVERNMENT, mainly the repulicans (i mean nazis) that run the place.     Why not just transmit it via FM ?

    ie, transmit 4 chans, put the gui on a server controled via a web browser, via your PocketPC/PDA on Wifi!

    Bingo! cheap and you can here it where ever you place ur traditional speaker systems.

    Or if you are real slack, just get an ipod.

    I never found the need for speakers in each room, i just have 2 amp setups in BR and main room. I can always plug in my mp3cdplayer in the BR amp unit to play hours of mp3s that way.

    If tanslucent stuff takes more cpu to constantly render the behind stuff, then take it away, its too subtle to be of any use.

    I do wish OSX finder or window updates were as fast as even a 600mhz PC box.... I dont need shadows on each window... sure it looks nice but its not needed. At least give the people with slow MaCs the chance to turn it off, it doesnt take away from the Experience if its not there.

    If one failed, but one landed we wouldnt have cared toooooooooooooooooooooo much!!!

    Or if it failed because of some complex reasons, but if it failed coz of some lame ass wanker manager with crappy process or no checks then its like, "YOU FOOL MORONS, STAR BUCKS has better QA for $3 coffees dickwad!!!!"

    i++; // this code increments the variable I stored as an 8 byte value up by one decimal value based on greek mathamatics, see ref:18324 , it also takes 125 ns in time. This code took me 7 hours to write and I had 3 coffee break in betweek and 2 shit dumps too. I also called my girlfriend 17 times to speak to her about what we are having for dinner tonight. Damn I have to pay that AT&T phone bill!! Any way, its time to go home and have sex with my girl. Man what a hard days work it has been. Tommorow might be easier with 5 meetings and a 2 hour lunch break and that training session on how to improve our behaviour with our bosses and team play. I have to admit this is one of the smallest comments I have for this code line. No wonder this 1200 line code took 18months to make. 5pm, oops im outa here, nearly 1min overtime there, NASA wouldn't be please with tax dollars going there..... OUT

    If A laptop survives 100% ok, then why not fit 5 laptops doing the same things, and rewrite the software to run on that and replace 5 tonnes of crap old hardware which might more likely overheat or fail or spark.

    In 1981 , an 8086 was probably RISKY to use, so why not use a damn laptop, if a human can survive in a shuttle, so can a damn laptop!, HELL encase the damn thing with 1 inch LEAD!!!

    For deap billion mile space probes YES I agree use whats the latest offering from motorola or intel that is RAD hardended and guranteed, and put in 3 of them in 3 motherboards just in case. And use gold wires/contacts with double connectors.

    Everything goes through RAD/TEMP/Vibration stress testing.

    We should these days be a bit more quicker at testing/approving latest/new tech stuff.

    yeah well back in my hay day I used 1.1 mhz C-64 and 48kb of real ram in 6510 assembly in raw op codes, not a source based compiler...

    So poo there dude.

    Id rather use Ac3, it can do 5.1 and 48khz and
    you can directly rip the audio ac3 from movie track video clips.

    yeah it works great on macs, i tried syncing on a windows box, and the software/setup is such a pain, what a crock of complex shyte.
