This is a distinction without a difference. You recklessly incited panic through your words, your speech. If you are fined for that by the government, then it's not free speech, and in essence you are not "free" to shout fire in a theater.

That article is hilarious, because while it debunks the notion that Flash photography harms paintings, the final sentence says it all:

"Of course, I absolutely agree that flash photography should be prohibited in galleries and museums, not least for the disruption it causes other visitors. The point of this post is merely to rebut the widespread belief that flash photography kills paintings."

Which is hilarious, because a huge amount of those very same visitors would be using flash photography and not getting annoyed by it.

This is called ambient music. It's an entire sub-genre of electronic, and has existed in more or less similar form for 20 years or more.

You can find thousands of entire mixes of ambient music that are perfect for coding to (I listen myself ) on mixcloud under the tag Ambient:

Turns out it's also perfect music for exploring the galaxy as background music in a number of video games.

It's possible the area was mapped previously or even visited in the 30's by that Morde person, but these Archaeologists are actually examining some of the artifacts, and from what they are saying it appears they don't correspond to any previously known artifacts from other civilizations of the time period. The Lidar mapping done indicated there were a number of cities along the river in this area that were quite sizable. They aren't ignoring the history of previous expeditions at all. The Atlantic article referenced areas T1-T4. Areas T2-T4 had been looked at previously, but not extensively or in any great detail.

The T1 area, where they found this city, had not been looked at previously; the authors stated that to their knowledge there had not been an expedition there because it was too hard to get to.

And yet some economists, like Krugman or Greenspan, are quite prescient with their predictions, and were/are right more often than they were/are wrong about what will happen in the future. It makes more sense to pay attention to someone who has a good track record...Krugman didn't win a Nobel prize because he was lucky or didn't know what the hell he was talking about...

Economists are like poker players. Yes, there's a lot of luck involved and half the time no one knows what they are anyone else are doing, but it IS possible to be a good economist.
