    The solution is simple: speed bumps. Even though the cars aren't going through a neighborhood fast, putting a few speed bumps along this route will discourage drivers from taking it.

    Guns are HORRIBLE. They result in the deaths of more than 30,000 Americans every year. They directly harm people on a regular basis. Other countries with strict gun laws have very low crime rates, so there's no need to own a gun for self-defense.

    And before you say, "Why don't you move there, then, libtard," I would say that because I love my country and am a proud American and am sick and tired of conservative nutjobs like you wanting to make this country even more violent than it already is, I would rather bring the peace in Western Europe here!     How can they catch you at the payment point? If I make a request for uber, unless the government is monitoring the app, which now may be encrypted, the uber or lyft car arrives, and money goes from my previously set up account into Uber's coffers. In what way can the government stop this?

    All they can do is sue the owners, but with what evidence?

    I don't hate the french; I just find them amusing. I find the antics of De Gaulle during WWII absolutely hilarious, as in, Monty Python-esque funny. He would march down the Champs Elysees when he did virtually nothing in the immediate aftermath of D-Day to help liberate his own country. Even Montgomery, who himself was insufferable, found De Gualle insufferable.

    While true, they also tended to fight using outdated tactics, such as forcing millions of men at gunpoint to advance, regardless of the odds or support. Russian "tactics" were a partial cause of them losing so many men.

    If having to submit to a little extra time and security checks at the airport constitutes a massive loss of freedom for you, you have your priorities in a tangle. I don't know about you, but I lived my life more or less exactly the same before and after Sept 11th.
