You sir "extrarice" [if that is your real name] are a complete moron. All you had to do to be ontopic was to say how many computers you sleep with, and whether or not they have Linux and Mozilla on them.
I sleep with 2 computers in my room, and one of them's a Dell. I only keep it because it makes my homebuilt computer look like a GOD next to it. If I had any more desk space, I would fill it too with computers, perhaps even a Commodore 64 to go with my colour Commodore monitor/TV that I have hooked to my VCR. I used to keep an 8086 Epson laptop around for emergency use with my UPS, but I ran out of floor space in my dorm room, so it is sitting at home with the parent's computer museum collection. [An unimpressive website currently, sorry.]
Thanks for the tip, but I already read The Chrysalids, twice. Once in highschool, and again after I bought the book at a garage sale. It is about the aftermath of a global nuclear war, if anyone else is curious.

I'd feel sorry for them if you are playing Unreal too.

The only true method of keeping confidential information safe is to keep it under lock and key, or in the possesion of a concerned person all the time.
And by the way, The Day of the Triffids is a kick ass book, not just a movie to watch in all its Hollywood "glory". John Wyndham kicks butt! He even predicted that man would be able to orbit the moon, in 1969, when writing in the 1930s!. [He thought we would be at Mars by now though, silly him...]
Triffids shows the dangers of GM food, and having space bourne weapons of mass destruction just waiting for a shower like the Leonid's to wipe humanity clean.
Yeah, how would that even work in space? I thought lasers could push things on Earth because it heats the projectile, and the heat difference causes some reaction with the atmosphere, but there is no air in space to interact with. What gives?
We should land on Asteroids, dig deep into their core, and use Nuclear weapons to blow the things up. Don't the article writers know any sciece what-so-ever?
Amen! What is better: Supporting a company from your home country or Microsoft? Supporting Canadians, or Americans [by pirating their software]. Paying Corel $50, or Microsoft $300? Using a more intuitive and backward/forward compatible WP, or Word?
Er, uh, Corel is a Canadian company, why the rant about American jobs? I don't think the sweat shops in India are producing too much software code, but that could explain things about Windows, if they are outsourcing to sweatshops.

At that rate, all us geeks can look at the pictures after about 4 days of trying...
DOH!
Have to clean my room in the meantime...

Japan wants a space observatory on the Moon.
Nasa wants a space station at the L1 point, and a space telescope at L2.
We will go to the Moon again. We haven't during my lifetime, but that means there will be a new set of generations around to enjoy the accomplishment.
..that that guy that stole Moon rocks from NASA, and was arrested, will get prison time for stealing ordinary, everyday run-of-the-mill Earth stones!
HAHAHAHA What a hoser!

Look just above your post. It shows that the vapourized asteroid is the factor, not the "momentum" of photons from a laser.
Now it makes sense. That whole "equal and opposite" reaction thingy. I knew I took science class for a reason.
