    Will you actually drive past it without stopping, or will you whip out your [insert connected device] and try to get $3,000 from Red40k.com?

    As far as I can tell, it has existed at least since 1938 when patent #2138974 describes electromagnetic "jamming" for the purposes of making a foot mold using a "magnetic box". Pneumatic "jamming" has existed since at least 1949 where patent #2472754 describes the effect... also for the purpose of making a foot mold.

    To anyone still interested in this, it has become an epic failure...
    Millions of people played, cheaters took over, they reset the game, and it still sucks. The rents were increasing more than exponentialy, now they dropped the rents and pissed everyone off. It will be quite interesting to see what happens.
    The blog is loaded with complaints.

    This reminds me of a story I read once about a programmer who challenges the devil to a programming contest. they battle it out on archaic machines, the heroic programmer using every available bit of memory and hardware... even stores some bits in a temporary buffer in the air between the speaker and microphone in order to get the most out of it... has anyone here read that story?

    My first impression... another head tracker....

    My second impression... a really nifty way to actually get a screen to shine what you want in any direction.

    My guess is that they flash the lights behind the screen at a high frequency and use a high frequency liquid crystal to block all the rays they don't want...
    This display probably gets very hot, because much of the light would be blocked. BUT... it would truly display a 3D image!! Amazing.

    1 Gather intelligent people with many viewpoints to debate important topics to help me steer the country.
    2 Demand open borders, and an offer citizenship to any person anywhere who wants to become a citizen.
    3 Push for a more modern penal system that promotes rehabilitation rather than punishment.
    4 Guarantee transparency in all other decision making process by making all meetings with advisors public.

    No other specific items that I can think of right now, but overall a platform that promotes competition, advancement, and long term thinking so that we can move one step closer to a legal and technological utopia.
