True results? What does that mean? I don't mean to get into a philosophical debate over the meaning of the word true, and I don't mean for this to be flamebait, but I wouldn't say google gave the true results. Google may give unsolicited results, but I would say only about 1/2 of the time google gives me what I want in the top 10 results. The beauty of google is the fact that it returns so many good results.
Besides, yahoo already does this, the people who pay yahoo get their pages listed on top. Having paid inclusion doesn't change the yahoo product. And with google going public all bets are off when the shareholders want to turn a profit.
To all those people who think buying an Xbox and running Linux is good because it causes Microsoft to loose money, your better off not buying an Xbox. Microsoft has already taken a loss on those nice shiny new Xboxes that you see in the stores. By buying them you are helping Microsoft recoup $200. If you don't buy the Xbox then Microsoft is out an additional $200.
And if you want to keep Microsoft out of the console market your better off buying a Playstation 2 and some games. Building up Sony's market share is more likely to keep Microsoft from making an Xbox2 then Linux Xbox. Of course , Sony's business practices aren't much better then Microsoft, but that is going way off topic.
Wow, getting rid of Television a while back was the greatest thing I have ever done. The only knowlege I have of the idiot is from 2nd accounts of the commercials from co-workers and lame trolls on slashdot.
My god, get this guy a girlfriend! At 17 he shouldn't be so worried about not going a few days with out playing a video game. And he shouldn't be fencing either.. thats gay, whats he going to be? One of the three musketqueers??
This guy is going to grow up to be like one of thoes guys at work who work like 12+ hours a day and get props from the boss. Meanwhile, I get passed over for rasies becasue I have a social life and I am not as "dedicated" to the job as they are. BS.
