Yep it so says. And you'll find that you have to file a writ in that state ordering the authorities to obey as that is the only method that exists in most states to carry out the warrant. Because an out of state judge has no authority over the local cops. Only the local state judges do.
I.E. you have to go to court and get a court order to get your court order enforced. Unless laws have been passed in the state to carry out this process. And most states have no such law. Else why would you need private process server companies? And note because of the clause in the constitution you stated there is no stopping a process server from performing his duties in any state as long as he breaks no law doing so. I.E. you can't kill anybody to serve a court order. This is why bounty hunters can operate the way they do.
No Sir you are not correct. The state of Illinois has no power to enforce a court order issued by the state of Arizona. Because of that if a person out of state fails to appear an arrest warrant can be issued, in Arizona, and the person can then be extradited back to Arizona. And this is a civil suit and in most cases a Judge will not issue an arrest warrant in a civil suit. He will simply rule against the missing party.
Not a 5% rule but based on the Electoral College. If you are registered in enough states that you can win the Electoral College(and thus win the Election) then you should be allowed in the debates. I think that only 6 candidates qualify for that. And both the Libertarian and Green party qualify for that.
Except that the dollar has been devalued. What do you think inflation is? Can you buy as much with a single Dollar as you could 20 years ago or 50? Why do you think we have such a trade deficit with other nations?
Now you'll argue that you earn more money then you use to and thus you make up for it. That is true. Inflation also affects that so wages go up and follow inflation in prices which interestingly enough causes more inflation. As more wages are demanded the cost for government to buy things like tanks and roads or to pay people like the postman go up. So the budget goes up and the deficit goes up. It is a never ending cycle. And as inflation goes up the buying power of the dollar drops to zero. No economy has ever survived having that happen. Why should the US economy be any different?
Rather then the current system *scam* of simply printing money to loan to government when then has to print even more money to pay it back. We are doomed to never be able to pay off the national debt. It would take a hell of a lot of effort to mine gold out of seawater. Be easier to haul a asteroid back to earth and that anit likely to happen either. Give me a gold standard again before we wipe out our middle class with our huge national debt.
Oh Bullshit. So what did every other Congressman suddenly become Chinese? They didn't vote alone on this. What motivated all the natives to betray the country?
Article I Sec. 2 Par 2 No person shall be a Representative who shall not have attained to the age of twenty five years, and been seven years a citizen of the United States, and who shall not, when elected, be an inhabitant of that state in which he shall be chosen.
Article I Sec 3 Par 2 No person shall be a Senator who shall not have attained to the age of thirty years, and been nine years a citizen of the United States and who shall not, when elected, be an inhabitant of that state for which he shall be chosen.
Article II Sec 1 Par 5 No person except a natural born citizen, or a citizen of the United States, at the time of the adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the office of President; neither shall any person be eligible to that office who shall not have attained to the age of thirty five years, and been fourteen Years a resident within the United States.
Note that no immigrant can be President of the US(sorry Arnold!) but living someplace 7 years is long enough to represent the area. I don't find that unreasonable.
And from the actions of Wu (and to a lesser extent Ameri- she was in state government before this race) neither of these people get the idea of America being just like any other country and needing to protect it's intellectual property and borders.
And how is this any different then the hundreds of other congressmen that ARE natural born citizens? I'll buy your argument when you show me facts otherwise you are simply demonstrating racism.
Well Hotmail has changed the rules. When it first opened they did sell lists. Now they don't do it anymore as I don't think M$ understood the amount of email their servers would get. Spam is been around for years but it only in the last 3-4 years that is has become unmanageable.
American Corporations use H-1B, L-1 visas to bring in "guest workers" to undercut the American Job Market. Once a person becomes a NC he is no longer a cheap commodity labor. He's part of the expensive American Labor force.
Either way we shouldn't be robbing the world of valued labor to feed our greedy corporations. How bout we(USA) stop supporting dictators that run their countries so bad that the people flee them.
Or how bout we stop raising our National Debt so freeking high that our Dollar has more buying power overseas then it has here.
Though I am sure that Microsoft will deny this, when Microsoft purchased Hotmail it was to use as an advertising venue. I.E. they were going to spam you and sell your name to people that spam you. I've open accounts at hotmail and NEVER used them and had them fill with spam. Most of it porn. People got tired of that but without the ability to sell advertising I don't understand why Microsoft bothers.
Hey I understand your sentiments. But if Google took the moral high ground and refused to do business with any country that violates human rights then they need to close up shop. Every country in the whole freeking world violates somebody's rights. Slashdot picks on China but I'm sure much of Google is banned in Saudi Arabia, Iran, North Korea, etc. Certain search subjects are banned in Germany. The list goes on an on.
At least in China the rules are well set down. Here in the USA the government can decide with out much proof or equality in judgment that you are a terrorist, declare you a hostile combatant and disappear your ass. Well Shit Google should be doing business in the USA either.
However it seems like to me that the average computer user 10 years ago was more knowledgeable then one is today.
I too believe in the grand parents argument. People should have a minimum knowledge of a computer just as they have a minimum knowledge on how to run a car.
Actually a lot of people couldn't change a tire if there life depended on it. But they can look at a tire and note that it is low and they will have tires rotated and inspected on a regular basis. Something that computer users will not do.

I don't understand why people spend thousands of dollars on a new device, then simply don't bother to learn anything about it. A computer, like a car, is a serious investment. Learn how to use it properly.
Perhaps because they don't spend THOUSANDS of dollars. They spend a few hundred maybe up to about ONE thousand dollars. Computers are cheap and thus people think they are or should be as complicated as similarly priced objects like dish washers or large screen TVs.
It they had to pay $20,000 dollars for a computer they would learn to take better care of it. But then again I see plenty of people that abuse cars too.
SPF marks email so that when you get an email that claims it is FROM an AOL member you can tell if it really does or not. It will not prevent AOL from getting Spam but it will prevent you from getting it from AOL or disguised as coming from AOL.
And this doesn't prevent Spam. It prevents job jobs. If a spammer is willing to ID the domain his mail comes from and not spoof he can Spam you all he wants. Course with a legitimate domain name/IP# you can blacklist him too.
If every a story itself was a troll this one is it. I hate Windows too but the story is misleading as Taco refers to it. It only 8% of windows FAILURES need rebooting as the solution not an 8% failure rate.
I run both Linux and Windows desktops. I reboot about one every two weeks and then usually it is because I've installed a patch or program that requires a reboot to work. In general most of my apps that I run are stable and I get rid of those that aren't.
X-Windows crashes more often for me the MS Windows does. But at least all I have to do for X is restart the X server. MS Windows I do have to reboot. Both are a pain but a full reboot is more painful.
If I personally break the law I will probably be incarcerated for my crimes. Yet a corporation who's only job is to make more money then it spends simply pays a fine. If I am in jail I can't earn any money or perform any deeds outside of a very limited set of rules. Corporations shouldn't be fined. They should be forced to shutdown or even be disbanded.
I tend to hold a Libertarian point of view but you have NO chance of ever being elected President. Aren't there more viable methods to get your viewpoint heard such as PACs or lobbyists?
The whole problem is that there is currently no way for a mail server to determine with certainty that the sending host is who it says it is. SPF/SenderID just tell the server that the sending host is the right one to be sending from the domain it's claiming. As far as I can see, that doesn't fight the real problem, which is forged headers.
Is this not SPF is doing? It checks the headers to see that the point of origin is the same IP as listed for your domain name as a legitimate sending point. I know of no way to forge headers once mail has left the source server. Each SMTP relay will stamp the mail with it's header. If a SMTP accepts mail from a relay that doesn't match the header it should reject it should it not? I've never received an email that didn't come from the IP number it said it did. I often get mail with the wrong domain name but the IPs always trace back. I can't see how you can forge IP numbers and expect mail to be delivered unless the majority of sendmail servers are poorly configured.
How does someone's experience as a junior officer over three decades ago have any bearing on their ability to be President of the United States?
And before you answer about things like "character" or truthfulness, in defense of either side, be careful, as both side has lied plenty. (Yes, [insert Bush or Kerry here]-supporters, he's lied a LOT about things related to his service, both during and after.)
Both are men of low character. Character IS important. I think one of the reasons that so many people have quit voting, myself included, is because we can find no redeeming qualities in any of the candidates. My vote doesn't matter because both sides are beholden to various corporations to the point that they are mere puppets of them. Does it matter much if we are screwed by big oil, big media, or big pharmaceuticals? We still are getting screwed.
Our middle class in being driving out of existence by the huge national debt and our inflationary fiat money system.

Throwaway Domains
(From John Levine:) Or spammers can register throwaway domains of their own, since burning an $8 domain for a 10 million message spam run isn't much of a deterrent.
Throwaway domains can be listed in sender blacklists which respond in real time to automated discovery methods.
SPF needs to work in hand with reputation schemes.
There are many possibilities. The reputation scheme most familiar to people is the DNSBL, which blacklists IP addresses. RHSBLs are the analogue for domain names. A number of them are listed at the bottom of Blacklists Compared.
Greylisting is another approach. It is elegantly simple, but it has three disadvantages.
1. People don't like to have to wait for real mail. After a while your users will say, "why is mail from my mom always getting delayed by an hour?" and you'll have to whitelist all your users' moms.
2. You need to do custom whitelisting for entire domains, because Yahoo Groups does not respect transient failure errors --- it treats them as permanent.
3. It is trivial for spammers to get around greylisting, because spammers don't actually queue messages; everything's just an entry in a database. Spammers aren't stupid. They can just repeat the run. Until they figure this out, greylisting will work.
Some suggest that reputation schemes would eventually be a lot like credit rating agencies: they don't say "yes, approve this loan"; instead they tell you what an individual's credit risk is, and it's up to the bank to decide.
Similarly a reputation service would provide a spam vs total ratio: (numbers are made up)
Of course those numbers would have to be based on SPF-verified domains. There would be three types of domains--- SPF, "best-guess-match", and non-SPF publishers. "Best-guess-match" means the domain would have passed SPF tests if it had declared "a mx ptr" mechanisms. But that's a small detail.
Any major ISP could track these stats pretty easily and build their own reputation system. Or non-ISP organizations like Cloudmark could too. I expect The Internet will come up with a good, free one that's built right into MTAs like Postfix and Sendmail.
The algo would work something like this:
If the sender domain is known to the reputation system, we can make the decision based on local policy. (Local to the domain, or even to the individual user.)
If we don't have a lot of data on the sender domain, (eg. maybe the domain hasn't been around very long) we can do greylisting for the first pass; if our reputation service has good response times, we can expect it to have an answer ready the second time the sender tries. Or we can accept the mail but content-filter it, then report the results to a reputation system.
Obviously we need to introduce expiry and all that other stuff, but that's the basic idea.
And it would become an accepted social standard that if your domain hasn't been on the Internet very long, you wouldn't expect your mail to get through to people right away.
There's lots of research going on in the reputation systems space. It doesn't seem to be a fundamentally hard problem.
Basically you end up only accepting mail from known trusted domains. If you are just starting a domain then your mail may be held up or even bounced by some users. Just as new car drivers get higher insurance so can new email domains have to pay in boun
