Well if that were to happen, which I highly doubt but can't rule out, The evidence would lead them to my IP, but when they didn't find it on any of my Hard drives, they would see I have a wireless network and would be able to catch my neighbors, and that would be one less sicko roaming free, so really, I'd be doing the world a favor;)
I leave my home network open on purpose. If passerby's want to check they're email or something be my guest. I use Linux and Mac OS X I fear not the script kiddy;)

Once again Linus leaves it up to the one thing that makes linux beautiful: Choice.
I for one, am against GM-ing Humans. Seeing as how so far everything we touch turns to shit when it comes to mother nature, perhaps it is best we heed the warning of Crichton et. al and stop to think "Should we?" before jumping headlong into something with potential drastic humane, political and social effects.
Mother Nature has done a fine job on her own so far, lets not tempt the powers that brought us here and can take us out.
It is this kind of over reaction, uninformed decision making which makes me ashamed of the US. Like my father always said: Hate my government, love my country.
Let's hope that money goes to a better cause, perhaps feeding some people or paying down the national debt.

You put x86 into Apple Computers and out come the clones, no matter how Apple doctored up the OS to search for certain pieces of software, there would be hacks. Nobody likes spending money, Apple would tank and then bamb no more OS X.
My unrealistic dream is AMD making PPC chips for Apple... sigh..
Or maybe just IBM kicking Moto's ass, heck I'd settle for a Mac zealot kicking the CEO of Motorola in the nuts.

Why? I mean honestly, I live in MA, perhaps we could spend this money you know, paying for the big dig, or putting it back in my pay check. I really don't understand why we are spending money trying to get a verdict that just won't happen. It's clear, MS is above the law. And untill some one either unseats them (GO APPLE AND LINUX) or straps a bomb to their chest and takes out Redmond (come on terrorists help us out here... (kidding, put away your political correctness alarms, I don't care) ).
