As an avid user of mIRC I started out creating handy aliases and snippets. I quickly progressed to automatic chat responses, quiz bots, services that queried websites, etc. I still remember the mIRC help file:)

Why-questions or questions about meaning are invalid, since they presuppose an agent with intent (God or something similar).
A lot of mobile phones (like my old Sony Ericsson P910i) have a whitelist option, and where I live, mobile phones are a viable alternative to landlines.
For some, it's cheaper having only a mobile phone and no landline (at least here in Norway). Tough competition really seems to drive the prices down. For instance, recently many mobile phone subscriptions have become available where you get 120 minutes and 90 text messages for free every month. (No monthly fees or such either. They make money on calls to other countries, MMS, special service numbers etc.)
You probably want to find or make a good LaTeX/TeX template and use that. Every computer science master student does that here at least, and the companies loves it.
...many places you can swipe your credit card when you leave your car, and swipe it again when you come back. Very convenient. Alternatively, you can pay with coins.
This is just a definition problem - like defining God. There are probably as many opinions/personal definitions to art as it is to God. Is it really neccessary to discuss the words? It has been said many times: If it's art to you - it's art.
I don't wanna upset anybody, but if this kid has something like an "addiction problem", my guess is that he has heard it ten thousand times before, and probably doing something about it. If not, that's his choice. Besides, online gaming, and tournamentgaming are cool =)

Most religions make claims about the reality we live in, claims that can be proved or disproved.
Except atheism is not a religion, in the same way that non-astronomy or non-mathematics are not sciences.

I didn't RTFA, but what about software, support/service and upgradeability? Surely this should also be factored in.
Someone made a Zonk in the post title.
I know. The tulips smell great!
