It's more do do with, way too few people wanting to hold their elected officials accountable.
So those few who do, are easy to eliminate.
Take your own country USA for example, as an Indian, I can't help but laugh when I see people
being used as mere pawns in the bi-partisanship circus. The right and the left both are equally suckered in
to believing that the other side is evil, and will be the end of your country if given a chance to govern.
Very few realize that both are sides of the same coin. Same BS sold in different flavor.
This sounds like something a 12 year old with a chip on his shoulder would do. Do you go around pointing the blame at others for all the failures in your life too? You seriously need some kind of professional help.
Well Steve Jobs did it too. Now what does it say about his mental age ?
If you don't like Apple's policy, simply don't sell via their store.
This is ridiculous , you perfectly know how Apple operates, so either conform to their wish or
say to hell with you Jobs, I am taking my business elsewhere.
Maybe there are no binary drivers available for your hardware.
Nvidia and ATI (AMD) both drop support for older hardware in their new releases, after that the only choice you have is either stick with a older kernel that can use the older Nvidia/AMD binary drivers, so use latest kernel but then you have to use the OSS drivers, as the lastest binary drivers may not support your older hardware.
Better yet, Setup ZFS on a opensolaris box, export the ZFS volume as NFS/Samba share or as an iSCSI target, access from Linux,Solaris,Windows etc.
ZFS can also do compression, and automatic snapshots, not to mention rock solid data integrity with raidz2
data integrity - check
remote access - check
automated incremental backups - check
No limitations of software raid neither the need for expensive hardware raid - check
Dead Simple to Use - check
Seriously what more do you want from a storage/backup solution ?
I should have been more clear in my earlier post, and typing code-pages instead of code-points didn't help either.
I don't mean unicode characters that use same glyphs as ASCII characters, I meant unicode characters that look like ASCII characters but actually use different code-points, or more precisely IDN URL Spoofing.

I second,
Never ever click links in emails. They can be very deceptive,
1 and l are too close, so is 0 and O, not to mention unicode characters that are exact equivalent of ASCII characters,
but different code-page mind you.
Just don't ever click links in email.
The Bing and Yahoo search pages look a lot like what the patent describes, may be google will sue them, and make bing and Yahoo search pages go back to the days of alta-vista and lycos.
A lot of those could be merely the hits to their validation services, used by web developers, just to test validity with different browsers, IE6 being one of them.
As someone who has visited Venice, I can tell you it's very commercial and full of tourist traps.
100 Euros for a 30 min gondola ride, 400 Euros for a Venetian mask and don't even get me started on the Murrano glass.
I felt like I was in a giant Hallmark store, full of useless over hyped and expensive stuff that only women can find "Oh so romantic".
I clicked the "Download Now" button, and I can't find my operating system in there.
Compe up with a native Linux/BSD version Microsoft, and then we will talk.
Seriously, every time someone compares apt to rpm , I feel like going sudo on them.

No Microsoft's Shared Source prevents redistribution. Netbeans is licensed as CDDL and GPL2 (with classpath exception),
which means you can fork and redistribute all you want.
Please reread your open source concepts and licenses. Just because a project is open source, doesn't mean the project's host
have to accept any incoming changes from any random person.
In fact you can't commit to the Linux kernel tree too, until you have build some credibility with the core kernel team.
You can submit patches, but don't hold your breath for them to be accepted any time soon, unless you have build some sort of repertoire.
What if the software is used in government space, or public domain space, funded with taxpayers money?
In such cases, shouldn't the software be open source and distributed under a OSI approved license ?
Are you being serious or sarcastic ? I can't even tell any more.
And that gives you the right to pirate the "glorified notepad" ?

GLPI, works well for us, and it's GPL, what more can you ask ?

Picasa ? Runs fine under wine too.
Not to sound like a OSS or Google fanboy, I really am serious, what does WinMo provide that Android lacks ?
