The difference is flight sticks use the thumb, which has a lot more movement than a finger. Mount this button on the side of the mouse and it will be more useful.
Sounds like a rather cumbersome idea to me, try moving the mouse around while moving your fingers forward and backwards. Not easy, side to side movement is much easier for your fingers.
They would be better placing a touchpad on the top of the mouse.
WINE isn't a 100% compatible of Windows yet in terms of bugs and quirks. Some APIs are probably incomplete too, I guess Codeweavers concentrate on the bugs, quirks and APIs needed to run the "supported" apps.
Many of the productivity apps supported are the only reasons many need a Windows installation. I wonder how long it will be before Microsoft try and buy them?
Now all we need is a good WINE fork specialising in MIDI and audio work.
Intel created a 64 CPU from scratch and it appears to be a bit of a turkey. Good design but not a real world solution, you can say the opposite about the Internet.
If the Internet has protocol problems then fix the protocols, it didn't take that long for most of the web to adopt http resume.

Yyou can insert a NIC card into the TiVo and extract the video streams, convert and burn on the PC. That way you only need one DVD recorder drive.
Well you can trademark anything if you're a big powerful company, if you're a smaller one then it's harder.
If you trademark a common word then you will need to captilise the word, other wise I could for example trademark the word "and" and (TM) make lots of money from it.
Also you need to actively use your trademark, otherwise you can't keep it. This prevents people trademarking the whole dictionary, waiting for someone else to use that name.
Queue is a clearer term than line IMHO, operating systems use that term eg. print queue. If you asked someone where their job was in the print line they might get confused:)
It's a smartphone, you made a mistake going with the T68i. The T68i is a toy in comparison, can't install new apps, can't write your own.
The 3650 can run all kinds of apps, it's basically a modern colour PSION scaled to fit in a phone.
Who cares if it's a little chunkier than a dumb basic phone, it has more functionality. You might as well say a laptop is too big compared to a PowerPC, this is the difference between a 3650 and a toy like the T68i, only the 3650 is only a little bigger.
For a while I guess that was true, hence this study. But you will eventually reach a saturation point. As the population grows the percentage who use the internet will remain fairly constant. There are people after all who don't like TV and refuse to use them.
Was owned, I don't know what happened to them. Firebird spawned Rainbird. I remember Rainbird released Starglider and the programmer of that Jez San formed Argonaut.
Yeh, video encoding takes a while. Trouble is the codecs get more advanced and the filesizes fall resulting in more CPU power needed to encode:)
Anyway, I always tend to stay back from the cutting edge as the heat generated is too vast to be cooled silently. When the cutting edge chips become the average ones the cores have gone through a few changes so run cooler.
Don't tell the politicians, they will be arguing for decriminalising spamming to get rid of the criminal element :)

As mentioned elsewhere, the optimisation settings are user defined.
But if these settings are breaking the software then surely it's the fault of the gcc compiler or the software in question?
Gentoo's ebuild are often just scripts, the actual software is often downloaded direct from the website of the actual developer of the software.
Drawbacks of digital are that the formats change so fast it becomes hard for older media to be read.
With film you can still scan the film if you want or easily devise a projector if they had all disappeared.

Is this what you meant?
Elvis? the rich fat bastard who never wrote a song in his life. Just the ideal man to ask for advice on a troubled industry.

I thought trademarking words in the dictionary was frowned upon?
:)
Windows always starts with a capital letter, that's how Microsoft make the distinction between the trademark and the word.
So call it "phoenix" not "Pheonix" and you'll be fine
Well I think line dancing sucks, so another reason not to use the word :)

PowerPC, doh I meant PocketPC.

Buy a Sun?
Don't upgrade?
Take up another interest?
PS2 has PS2Reality Media Player.
It does DIVX, XVID too. It's also free software, based on FFMpeg.

Or just use it as a trap to record as much information about the person using it to spam people.
It was also the name of an 8-bit game company.
:)
I might knock up a Firebird software theme
Try saying it in a cockney accent for full effect :)
Plus if it's wood it can burn?
Seen Vapochiil before, but I would rather keep things simple and I would rather AMD and Intel worked hard to produce cooler CPUs.
Currently I only have a CPU fan and a PSU fan running with a 2100+ Athlon XP., CPU is 46oC and case 37oC which isn't bad.
