I still find using OO annoying as hell. It just doesn't work as well as Office, printing is a pain and so is general word processing. Not that Office is the best product either, but OO isn't even close to the maturity of Office. Maybe in a few years.
To say that "...while Linux servers were the most vulnerable,,," only means that they may have been the most targeted. I am not saying that the conclusions of this research are incorrect, I am saying that from what I have read, they cannot come to those conclusions.
Then again, what this also means is that linux machines are the most likely to be overtly hacked into.
This is funny that I see this slashdot post right after I learned that Apple has a new program where it fixes the iBook logic board failure for free. Guess that sort of screws his arguement a bit.
Absolutley, in fact, blue is the best color I can see because of my red-green color blindness. The red I can't see at all, the green is just a little worse then the blue.
There is a lot of evidence in literature that our eyes have evolved to see the color blue over time. A lot of biblical and Grecian writings describe the sea to be the color of wine (purplish)... and... their are a lot of other examples, but that is the one I can think of off the top of my head.
Yeah, but it also seems that if you are not running "Nexus" then you will not be able to run a lot of programs that require it. Also, it will eventually evolve into a system where it can't be disabled.
Personally, I have to say that I really don't use the linux for desktop because it is better. While the linux kernel is faster, more stable, and more secure then the NT kernel, I still find the linux desktop to be severly lacking.
I mostly use linux for the desktop because I can't stand using Windows on an x86 machine.
I understand that, but I am more confused about the "matter hasn't changed position since the beginning of the universe" statement. If you mean relative to the space around us... what if we move towards the direction in which space is expaning... I am not really explaining myself well:).
I guess I am just saying that the fly would still be changing position, even relative to space because despite that the fact the dough is rising.. he.. is still moving.. and it seems to me that he would change position, if even minutely.
Just curious, then why is it we perceive movement of matter all the time, especially say us... well walking around? Just curious, this sort of thing fascinates me.
I have to disagree. When a friend of mine gets onto my computer, they are unable to figure out where my internet browser is. I think one of the reasons for this is that the Mozilla Lizard doesn't really give off the impression that "this is an internet browser".
However, Mac OS 10.2 was released not too long ago. If there was a two year long wait between the two versions, I wouldn't mind so much, but $130 a year for an operating system sucks.
So what does iTunes invoke when you go into the iTunes music store? A browser that came with iTunes? Mozilla? IE? In all probability it calls IE, so I think Apple should be suited and that I be made available for large cash prizes..
I am having problem with skipping/distortion for some time, and I just checked out the IRQ listing, and half my devices are using IRQ 9. This includes my sound card, my ata 100 controller, my video card, my usb controller, and my firewire controller.
So how can I fix this? Here is my comp:
I have ACPI disabled.
Win 2k
AMD Athlon 1.2 GHz
Asus A7V motherboard
512 RAM
GeForce 4 Ti4600
Sound Blaster Live

iBook Logic Board program
Not entirely screws his arguement, but it sure helps.

You could send some of that money to me, I have a use for it.

Now THATS irony!
That an Apple ad is in quicktime? I think not.
How can you have quantam cryptography without a quantam processor... or... how does it work?
I didn't see this comming at all! Who would have thought they would be supporting their own products.
Here is da slide-show

yeah... hehe
"The IBM with a PowerPC 970 was a first choice but the earliest delivery date would have been January 2004."
"On June 23 Apple announced the G5."
I was under the impression that the G5 was a Power PC 970. Is it just some derivative of the Power PC 970... or what?
Just curious, then why is it we perceive movement of matter all the time, especially say us... well walking around? Just curious, this sort of thing fascinates me.
Isn't it possible that they just haven't released the 10.2 patch yet?

Oh no, not a cap at 60! I would lucky to get beyond 30 FPS.

$300 for one OS sucks more though.
ok i will thanx u sirs urrtruely leetttt

I totally agree, but this shouldn't be modded up insightful, the mods need to be a little less biased.
Would you like to give me one? Because I can't seem to afford one right now.
The first drivers I always install are 4-in-1 drivers, and I do have the most recent Live drivers.
And yeah, Creative has put out some pretty horrible drivers.
