I am color blind, and I have had a lot of problems in several games, such as WarCraft III. Also, whenever I played laser tag, there would be three teams, red, yellow, and green. I would always have to be red or else I would end up shooting my own teammates constantly.
I am suprised more games don't have color-blindness options, considering most video game players are boys.
... is like George Bush as our President. It just won't work.
Though I pray to God that it does. I would love to see a sequel to both Ultima 9 and UO, but I seriously doubt they can do it considering how they turned UO into a piece of crap game.
I have nothing against ATI, but the reason I buy nVidia cards is because of the linux support. Last I checked the ATI linux support wasn't very good. Then again, they may have been improved in the last year. Doesn't really matter because the last card I bought was my GeForce 2 two years ago.
Must... check... slashdot...
Actually, in all seriousness, I know that I am addicted to information a bit. That is why I look forward everyday to checking slashdot, gamespy, tom's hardware, and my email.
Hi, my name is mojo and I'm addicted to information.
I guess it is only specific games though, like more puzzle oriented games, because I know after playing a somehwhat frantic FPS like Quake III or a Half-Life mod my brain feels scattered. Though, that is more playing the game after like an hour, which I wouldn't be doing at work.
Though, with BSD it is easier to catch it in legal limbo land then Linux. SCO is just going after the big companies that distribute it, like IBM and possibly Red Hat. While this is obviously damaging, Linus Torvalds can still go on without much trouble, as can many of the open source developers (such as Apache and... I think GNU). Then again I could be disguistingly wrong.
Where is IHT getting this emails anyways? It is alwasy great fun when an email like this comes a long, but these things seem confidential and it almost seems illeagal.
Yeah, though you can just release an easy patch for software, when a bug in the hardware can possibly require you to return the product or spen a lot of money to replace the product.
I can hardly say that the first movie had a stunning, subtle philosophical theme. Our perception of reality is false, instead we are a battery for robot overlords. Very subtle.
This really isn't a bad way to break IE in the same way Microsoft broke Opera. I guess I will have to do that to the html docs I host on the web... whatever those are.
Do you really think you wouldn't find a huge difference in 1980's UNIX to current Linux distributions when comparing them? Seriously, I would like to hear your arguement, because I've got nothin'.
Linux itself is a clone of an operating system that is 20-plus years old. That's what it is. That is what you can get today, a clone of a 20-year-old system.
Yeah... NT was created about 10 years ago which was a clone of Windows which was created in 1981 and was derived from DOS which was stolen from QDOS.
Will the Matrix sequels also be shown in digital theaters? Seeing Star Wars: The Attack of the Clones in an all digital theater was awesome (albeit the movie sucked), and it would be cool to see these movies in digital too.
Actually, the nVidia drivers are overall considered better for linux... well at least by many people I know and by observing the game benchmarks over the years with UT 2003 and Q3.
Also, WineX still doesn't work very well in my opinion. Usually it is only the very big games that work, or games that are based off of the Quake 3 engine. Games like Morrowind or Black and White I have found to barely work at all. To add to that, you have to pay for WineX and it is a pain in the ass to set up.

It isn't ironic. Damnit.

Insulation foam.

Not that I know the law or anything.

Yeah, I use the windows copy of phoenix and I have zero problems with it. In linux I just use Mozilla.
Agreed. IE for mac is insanely slow compared to its alternatives.
Well, Phoenix doesn't crash. Mozilla: 1, IE: -1!!!!
Yeah, but you will probably see him pop up in the movie trailers and commercials, so it isn't like it was going to stay a secret for very long.

Oh... well it still works! :)

I hate Balmer.

Ok, I do think it is great that anyone is porting ANY games to linux... but... Midnight Racer? I mean, who cares?

Is it weird to have soiled myself after reading the subject line? Well, if this is what bad feels like, I don't want to be good!
Is Windows Server 2003 considered NT 6 yet? Just curious about their version numbers.
