Wouldn't this also be abusable? Pick a stock, short it, spam the hell out of everybody, watch Ameritrade or whoever blacklist it, and watch the price drop.
This is certainly possible. It's known as a short and distort. I think that the most well known instance of this happening was Emulex.
An idea I had was to build an rss proxy and put it into the http protocol, where I can use my favorite desktop feed reader, and not have to leave my computer on 24/7 just to ensure I don't miss a post for feeds where they expire very quickly.
What I do is use Google reader to glom all my feeds together, and then use a desktop rss reader to read from my Google feed. Problem solved!
Although, if Google allowed me to search through my rss feeds I wouldn't need to download them into a seperate app (Opera's RSS reader). It's not perfect, but it'll do.
Yes, but "Dog" actually committed the crime in Mexico. This guy hasn't been to the US and was willing to plead guilty in an Australian court. This is a fucked up situation here.
Both fists are mapped to the Wii remote and nunchuck so if you hold down the Z Button and thrust forward with your right hand, your character will perform a quick right jab. You can also swing your arm around and your character will perform a slower but more powerful hook. The real fun however, starts when you grab your opponent by holding Z and B at the same time.
Once you have someone in your grasp, you can beat their face in by thrusting the Wii remote forward, headbutt them by quickly motioning both the Wii remote and the nunchuck towards your face, slam them against the wall by thrusting both controllers forward when holding them with their backs against a wall, throw them by motioning the controllers in any direction and then letting go of Z and B, and even strangle them by quickly bringing the controllers together and then shaking them like you're actually doing the strangling yourself.
Is that what you were looking for? Wiimote and nunchuck being "virtual hands"?
Ejecting a USB storage device in windows is a 5 click, 2 dialog box, and one context menu procedure... on a mac it's two click procedure, one to open finder one to eject.
To eject my iPod in Windows, all I need to do is to left click the "Safely Remove Hardware" icon in the taskbar and click on "Safely remove USB Mass Storage Device - Drive(Z:)". That's two clicks. Does this not work for you?
How about you just send a bunch of swingers that know each other?

It's the queers. They're in it with the aliens. They're building landing strips for gay Martians, I swear to God
I don't think I've ever seen your sig as appropriate as it is now.
I think this is an excellent opportunity for downloadable content and micropayments to shine here. That way you could have a j-pop expansion, a death metal expansion and so on.
Does that make Opera, at version 9.2 the best then?
Is Opera still problematic on OS X? I use it in Windows, but I've heard that it's a bit dodgy on the Mac.

I think that the Natural Selection mod for half life, might be what you're looking for. But having never played it, I can't say for sure.

It also gives them a huge tagged photobase to onsell to advertisers.
Review from Console Gameworld Is that what you were looking for? Wiimote and nunchuck being "virtual hands"?
Good use of "why, oh why" but you forgot to include the classic "pull your socks up".
So I'm going to have to take a point off you for that.
9/10.
What about Eve Online?
This sounds like something that would happen in the xkcd universe.
What? You never played Mortal Pongbat? You missed out!
That's right! The beeb reports it here. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/science/nature/3161694. stm
While not hockey games as such, where would you place Speedball and Speedball 2?
Handbrake works for Windows too! I've been using it to rip my Dilbert DVDs, so I can watch them on the train to work.
Looks like Impossible Mission and some of the "games" series will be coming out for more up to date platforms.0 5443.html .

Handbrake is getting close to being a one-stop DVD ripper to iPod formats.
$30 for an iPod to TV cable? That's ridiculous! You can buy a cheap camcorder cable with the same endpoints for much less. For example see http://www.streetwise.com.au/product_info.php?prod ucts_id=4194& . That's only $15AUD
As an Aussie, I must admit I'm curious. What show of ours could you possibly be hooked on?
So if I'm dying for a bacon double cheeseburger it's okay?
