We have a downstream WSUS server from our main WSUS server. It sits in a private network. The only thing on this network is Ghostcast, WSUS and new clients.
Two ways to make it easy I would think. One, use microfot's WSUS. Two, download the updates to a disc and read the documentation, you can create your own "slipped streamed" instalation media for reinstalling.
I prefer the first option, use ghost to throw an image on a PC, let it sit for a day on the network, and if the GPO are configured properly, you can come in the moring to a completely updated computer.
Hi, my name is David Pogue. I obviously have no technological knowlege on this subject, hinted by the use of made-up word "Intellese."
But please take my word, that "someone will write a driver pack" that will make windows boot on this new iMac, since obviously the current drivers dont speak "Intellese."
I know here at The Ohio State University, a couple of students who live in the dorms told me that they have had disciplinary action against them due to photographs on the site showing them engaging in underage drinking.
I was completely and entirely shocked.

Because,
If we cant blow up cans of tuna....
Then the terrorists have won
I bought two pre-gutted cabinets (Please never gut a working cabinet for MAME, it makes me cry)
took an old compaq PC I bought off a friend for $20, Its a P3, I cant even rember how ast it is and I dont care, it plays every classic game Id ever want it to. I mounted the motherboard on one side of the cabinet, the HDD on the other side (near the door opposit the coin door so I could change the HDD with out taking the back off the cabinet if need be)
Purchased one iPac, the best priced keyboard encoder around, and buttons from some local supplier Cut a custom button layout from MDF, wire everything
Thats the basics. The thing everyone should do is add there own touches so none of our MAME cabs look the same. I for one added the following: Added white LEDs behind the coin slots, so they look like they should Glued micro switches to the coin return system so when you push coin return it gives you a credit in the game(wired thru the ipac)
Original TMNT marquee
Monitor is from an older bartop breakout type thing with a touch screen.

a 2600hz signal would be played over a phone and it would release to the trunk and you could now control the trunker.
for more info, read about "captain crunch" and some issues of 2600 magazine.
The rumors of AMD releasing a 64-bit CPU are confirmed. The AMD Athlon(TM) 64 can be found at AMD's website. As expected, it has backwards 32-bit comapatibility. You can order one today; estimate 3-4 weeks shipping date. Base unit starts at $699.
I have done the math, and it would take more land to grow soy than U.S. ownes to provide enough biodiesel for the current yearly consumption. And I mean total land, not just croppable land.(i've forgotten the exact numbers) Rapeseed could be used but we would need around 90% of all U.S. land covered in crops to pull it off.
but alge does show potential. If they can get large enough alge fields growing we could cover all our transportation fuel needs with as little as 9 million acres of alge. The alge also feeds off of human sewahe and kills two birds with one stone.
if you want to take a look at a term papper i wrote on the subject, let me know
Is it so much an eyesore that you are willing to pay for solar power? Wind power is the way to go and I don't see why people complain so much about how they look. Are the more of an eye sore than the smog in L.A.? Id rather look at a turbine myself.
It would only take around 2% of the land in the continental United states covered in wind turbines to make more as much electricity as we used in 2003. Hell, if you don't want to look at them throw them on farm land, if you take all cropped land in the US together, we would only have to cover 10% of this land to make all of our electricity. The only problem is the lines needed to move it all around the other country. But installing new lines along with the turbines is still CHEAPER than the amount of solar cells we would need to make effective solar power.
And lets double those numbers, 4% of the US's land covered in turbines then we could make so much hydrogen at night when no one is using electricity that we wouldn't know what to do with it. It could replace natural gas in those power plants than burn it(with very little modification)
And I could buy that BMW 745i that runs on Hydrogen too:p
Im takeing a physics class right now that deals with "energy in a modern world." The fact of matter is cost. We as humans must decide to bear the cost of switching to lower emission electricity production. The way investors look at it, a natural gas power plant can be installed for half the price, half the time, and can break even in a third of the time any nuclear plant can. We as consumers of electricity have to make a effort to bear the additional cost of cleaner production means. If you really want to talk green power, stop thinking nuclear and solar and think WIND. Wind power could provide the USA with more electricity than it currently needs if it is installed properly. The problem? again, wind electricity at the moment is a couple cents more per kWh than natural gas and coal. Are you willing to add the money on your bill each month? I am. Ever wonder why california has more wind turbine farms than any other area, even though they have one of the lowest wind potential west of the missippi? Because people are starting to want cleaner power, even at a cost. Did you know a single 750 kw turbine can provent as much CO2 emmision as a 500 acre forest can absorbe annually? Did you know, at the current death rate due to living in proximity to a coal plant, for every 33 wind turbines installed, we save a life. thats one less person who will die from lung related problems caused from emmisions. Coal plants are esimated to cause the death of over 35,000 americans a year.
If we want to get off the oily road we are one, we must make an effort and bear the cost of doing so. It is the only way this will ever work. And it can work. Look at europe, note germany's emmisions over the past 15 years and how they have dropped to next to nill. Ohio alone now produces more NOx emmisions than germany does per year. think about that.

You should check out the firefox extension "customizegoogle"
It lets you filter results in "black list" fasion(among other crazy google customizations)
I do IT support for that guy.
He's a good guy.
I think its crazy how you can work every day with a person and not really know the depth of what they do for a living.
There is no cure for AIDS
And no one is absolutly sure how gravity works
At least some funding was given so we can FINALLY have colored bubles

Im curious as to which university gave them access to sniff internet2 traffic.
I mean how did they get access to this?
The problem being that the developer has sworn up and down that he used none of the PearPC code.

Now you've got me going. I'm waxing nostalgic about playing "Mario Bros" in the sewers with real plumbing tools.
I've played real life donkey kong with a keg and the stairwell at my college
