It's alright. Really, it's as good as google... except that I've been soaked into all the gApps. In fact, it's probably better since all the spam hasn't really hit there yet.
I know plenty of people who believe both. In fact, I think there's actually LESS of a rivalry between religion and science than people suggest.
I think little things like this are important evidence for what I'm saying...
"John Paul insisted faith and science could coexist. In 1996, in a message to the Pontifical Academy of Sciences, he said that Darwin's theories were sound as long as they took into account that creation was the work of God and that Darwin's theory of evolution was "more than a hypothesis.'"
The only thing I'd recommend is skipping some of the remote access stuff, and just setting up a VPN connection to their building or network. Of course, this depends on whether or not they're down with it.
I used to work for a small IT firm, and most of our larger companies allowed us to set up VPN tunnels to their networks. This way we were able to do things like regular remote backups and troubleshooting. When you can solve the problem remotely, they like that. They don't have to pay for travel time or wait nearly as long for your guys to fit them in to their schedule.
Wow, that's disturbing. Not so much the rabbit restrainer, but the idea that every boy scout and college kid in the country is being regularly dosed with synthetic estrogen.
There are plenty of large company ads that make me laugh out loud, and I like to think I'm not a complete dolt. You're certainly right about the local car dealer ads though. They are most certainly the bottom of the barrel and account for way too much ad time.
I saw that Honda commercial you're talking about once before. It is certainly cool... but we do, occasionally, get really creative marketing on TV here. I think we can agree that genius is pretty rare anywhere you go.
That article says it's being built by companies and such, but is it an actual government project?
That just seems weird to me. I know if the US Gov. tried to put together something to topple Google, everyone would be screaming about government bias and such. If it is a French Gov. project, isn't anyone worried about that? I'd have to think people would be a little naive to think that any particular government was above tinkering in their own interest.
Also, consider that a kid's parents didn't necessarily prepare to send their child to school. Others simply don't want to or don't feel it's important. It doesn't matter though, if your parents made too much money, you don't get much help.
Fortunately, I've only had to watch this happen with other people. Me... I'm the one who went to college right out of HS even though I clearly wasn't mature enough for it. Now I pay for it cash out-of-pocket. It's remarkable how much more effort you put into school when it's entirely on your own dime.
So I'm reading the wikipedia article you listed there, and I learn that they searched for one of the bombs using something called, "Bayesian search theory".
Who would have thought nuclear weaponry and anti-spam technology would be somehow related?:)
It's probably best that this garbage doesn't make it out of the galaxy. Every category is whining and bitching about things that don't describe humanity with any usable context... crying about relatively small current events, with geographic locations and politicians referenced by their proper names.
Amen brother.
That's interesting stuff... thanks for that.
I think that was Apple with all their educational discounts. It didn't work out so well for them.

That was a little out of left field, no?

Thank you for that.
You're exactly right... something I derived from the summary itself.
What I wonder is if it isn't because we think we can control people, but we feel we can't control things like flu epidemics.
Along those line, 9/11 was the result of gross human failure to prevent a disaster, but a flu epidemic is something that just happened to us.
This is all good stuff.

Creepy.
From what I hear, the lesson is to run your format and cost projections past the porn industry... then go with what they decide.

I didn't know about this Quaero engine.

Aren't those Nalgene bottles made from polycarbonate?
We used to use them backpacking, now they're sold on every college campus in the country.
...and maybe how they found it.
Seriously, 30%? That's almost embarrassing. Don't we have some kind of fancy ground-penetrating radar we could be using?
This is still the case.

IQ testing issues aside, the summary suggests results for memory recall... not IQ.
No, but 100% of murderers who've gotten the death penalty have never murdered again.
You're the devil. I'm sure of it.
I always got the impression they were hard workers and everyone there was burned out.
I think you're thinking of Apple.
See, I could imagine asking someone at Microsoft that, but I couldn't picture asking someone at Google that.
I guess we know which way I'd go.
Baby steps... baby steps.
That was very well put. Thank you for taking the time to write that.

"This sounds like a fun idea until you realize that someone is going to submit goatsex. I can only imagine the aliens reaction to this."
Hopefully it will be interpreted like this: "Please, here is a detailed image of our bowels, now stop probing the human anus."

Such a waste of time and money.
