    I was under the impression that it takes 10 years to get to the finla phase AIDS in any case after one gets the HIV virus. So these could still be infected but the tests are not picking things up as it should. Bad testing that is all what it is.

    And they are soon to die. After this lawsuite... why would I ever want to buy any Kodak product? Why would I want to see a movie that has been made with Kodak-Eastman technology?     OOooooo small biz going with Linux/Oracle are dissed that things aren't better.... Why even try to kill a fly with a bazooka? Why were they even running their own sites? Wasn't there an IBM solution there for them to use? I call this report a lame attempt and it is most definitely geared towards the ignorant masses where it is good not to trust the techies that write the programs but rather a large corporation that want to milk their boobs until kingdome come. People it is time to severe the tech idiots. They are wilfully not trying enough and don't have real computer literacy (neither point-n-click and command line is computer literacy) so either they get with the snowball Linux or get the fcuk out of our way.

    Never ever blame the customer. If the customer can make it crash then it is a BAD product plain and simple. W2k works infinitly better than any other MS product, but then again I don't have anything on it more than the dev environment and I am never using it for browsing nor any other kind of communication. Windows is a big security hole... a VERY big hole.

    What is a reboot? ;-) I have had 10 kernel panics the last 9 years, two that were induced because of my stoopid programming. And oh yeah I am running Linux both as a server and desktop machine with plenty of apps.

    any of the solutions you propose is PITA to replace and get up and running as if nothing has happened. Takes less than 5 minutes. Home directory is much harder to recreate because usually users don't do a full home directory backup. Now what should be done is a swift and clear: shred /dev/hda

    "But any bonus is better than NO bonus." Stock options and Bonus should not be a incentive to work better. You don't change your work position with that and are placed in the hiarchy of the company. You can "never" move from that position and the company will never grow. If you think that is good you are delusional.

    I coulnd't agree more with "because it is what we were born to do". Last couple of years I have been fixing the horridness of people that did it for the money. These people should hopefully never be allowed near a computer ever again. But then again it keeps me employed. Cobol programmers back in the day at least knew how to program, but the "bubble day programmers" knew nothing about it and we will pay for a very long time. All because Microsoft was touting that computing is simple and it's just point and click... shesh... common script kiddies kill the behemoth now before it is too late.

    Ok I have a x86, SPARC, MIPS and a PPC machine running all different OS flavours. So does that make me smartest? What a load of baloney that architecture has anything to do with it.
