Is it just me or when they hit the big bad guys with the crowbar in one of the promo movies the effect looks like a retro arcade game(Area 51). This is the only thing I see wrong with the engine.
My heart says your xbox toasting friends keep telling you how good it is buy an x-box. My head says that your going to have to save your money for Half-life 2. Ahhh the decisions.
In the end I will probably not get this because I have overplayed it already and it was not that fun, mainly because I sux at games an my friend is good.
I disagree; Most people feel more comfortable buying a set product then a subscription. For example, in an arcade people would cash in the beginning and then throw away there coins as if they were free. Another example would be how cell phone companies sell ring tones by having people pay for the points and letting them spend them on whatever the person wants.
This is a fairly cool feature for a video game. The problem is that it requires people to own extra hardware. A tool called the Dex Drive had a similar idea but it never caught on therefor the community never grew. For this game to work there has to be a universal site where people could share raps like rapsharer.com or something and learn from the mistakes of the Dex Drive.
I say bring you're desktop computer you are using at home to collage and get a very cheap laptop. The cheap laptop will just be for notes; I can't type fast enough with a palm. The desktop will handle everything else. It might not be a super computer but it will get by for 4 years.
That would be great if they had a site that compiled all the reviews for a product on the net and gave it a present score. Like http://www.rottentomatoes.com I would call it Smelly Harware.
Even a voluntary recall is not good enough. I'm sure not every scuba diver reads the San Francisco Chronicle to get this information. Money should be spent advertising the recall if there is no better way to get the word out.
Circuts in the New York Times is allright. Most of everyting they talk about I have allready heard about but once in a while they will have an intresting webpage that I will like.
IMHO The Matrix could not beat out Star Wars. Star Wars is made up of the entire universe when the matrix is just built upon real earth and a fake earth. Star Wars franchise is an empire with thousands of books, movies, games The Matrix only has three movies and a game not to say that they could not expand upon that but for now Star Wars is chief. A background story on Morpheus would be so cool.
GM chose these cell phones because people feel more comfortable with, but also because they can run sophisticated applications.
IMHO the people that are not comfortable with PDA's don't use the calendar and such features on a cell phone. What the cell-phone plan does is let people carry around less bulk. (IMHO people will leave there palms in the car and take there cell phones to the office and not the other way around)
IMHO the government should step in as soon as the technology is hindered by a problem (such as spam). Problems such as sales calls @ 2:00 AM or on the cell phone. Junk snail mail does not really hinder the usage of snail-mail so therefore the government should not regulate that(unless it already does). Things such as junk IM msgs go to far.
I would think the only reason to get a dvd burner in todays world would be to:
a) watch home movies on the dvd player.
b) back up large files
If you do not need these features wait for the price to go down to the $150 range.

I too like spam it makes me feel important.
"Oh man 30 people sent me e-mails I am so popular"
I wish I were kidding.

Even James Bond's remote control was not on his cell phone

I had a plan for that but then I realised I needed to get food some how.
I wish, my whole entire family screams at me every time I do that. I'm running linux of a live cd.

Don't smart compilers change recursion to iteration automatically so how could it be the same source? That's all I know from my little java knowledge.
Because you lost the source and forgot to make a backup.
just give us time.................
It's not a waste of time if he has fun doing it.
Show your support for this and buy a Neuros player.
The same thing is hapining to the ipod. I will go buy that.

If that is true why would they want to make it open source in the first place.
