Sorry Mozilla, you have poisoned the well for many developers. The whole Brendan Eich situation and your cowering to the social justice warriors makes me not only avoid your products, but actively remind people that you are a sleazy political organization first, with a browser tool far second. Google's heart isn't much better but at least they have tact in their public relations.
You know if you have paid or not so the control is solely in your hands. It's a stereotype that you're poor because you are irresponsible. Don't be the stereotype.
And if you're really in medical need, ambulances will come pick you up.
Every time I see a story like this or the problems Tesla has in NY, I can't help but think of the "New York is open for business" commercials flooded on the TV news channels. One of the most taxed and regulated states in the nation claiming to be business friendly.
While Republican voters might appear to be for immigration reform by the polls, their idea of reform is vastly different than what these people are proposing.
They first want a secure border... meaning no flood of new illegals, drugs, gangs, etc.
They clearly feel lied to by democrats saying the border is the most secure ever. Just look at the 50,000 children who have just crossed since January. If you can't stop children, how do you plan on stopping the "bad guys"?
Republicans would also support more work visas -- both skilled and unskilled. They don't care about having more immigrants here. They want an orderly process which no administration has been able to provide.
Obama's blanket amnesty isn't too popular but most Republicans would be up for the debate if they were confident the problem wouldn't keep compounding itself with new illegals.
Obviously this criminal's previous arrests didn't serve as a wake up call. This sentence quite appropriately protects the public -- specifically the next group of innocents that this guy decides to rob at gunpoint. It also teaches the guy's children that crimes have consequences.
Facebook has a very heavy hand at suspending accounts who don't mesh with the feminist agenda. If you post pro-masculine articles, prepare to have your account terminated as happened by the owner of the Return of Kings page. Other pro-male pages like the Tom Leykis show are suspecting they will be next.
Now maybe you aren't into masculinity and don't care. But when they come for your subject of choice, (guns? reverse engineering?) prepare to find yourself locked out.
For one, I don't think that Walmart's margins are so thin that they can't afford...
This is a case where it doesn't matter what you think. Walmart is a master of optimizing prices. Maximizing revenue is a duty to their shareholders. When they see waste, in this case on the transaction fees, they work their hardest to reduce it. That is what's happening here.
Walmart serves a different market from Costco so your bit about amex is not applicable. There was a time 10 or 15 years ago when Walmart tried to start a bank to get in on the interchange rates and government regulators killed the idea.
I love linux and use it everywhere but let's be honest - Tizen isn't going anywhere. These developers would be better off building a GPL pure ecosystem around Android.
Your other option when you can't afford it is to take things step by step. Get your associates, take a step forward in your career. Get your bachelors, take a step forward in your career. Get your masters, etc. Sure you don't become a PhD by age 25 this way, but shockingly, life is not "fair."
Arizona is an open carry state but a permit is required to carry a concealed weapon. The permit process requires class work, background checks, fingerprinting, and no felony or domestic violence charges.
Since the UK doesn't have freedom of speech like here in the US, this could really change the internet by creating a roadmap for other countries to follow.
That IRC meeting was painful. Is the reason OOo has been so slow to gain traction in America because nobody on the board speaks english or has the cultural fortitude to face tough issues? Thankfully louis_to was there to get down to business and make something happen.

Fuck Noo Yawk.
Until the vendors who are building this system get their company name in the headlines, the status quo will continue.
At least France is a western country.
Just wait until ICANN goes full international. The fun will really begin.
Thanks liberals!
Go get all the abortions you want, but private businesses have the option to not pay for it.

Their use of bold and italics in the announcement makes me feel like I'm reading an old John C Dvorak pcmag column.

Writing anti-male missives won't get you laid.
Hopping on the misogyny bandwagon will not get you laid.
Until you understand the differences of what women say versus how they act, you will continue to be powerless in your quest for attention.

I can safely say moving your clocks is idiotic. If you want to work 8-4 or 9-5, it really don't matter at all. Just pick one and make it happen.

Then you aren't reading the best web comic out there: Jerkcity
As far as FSF artwork goes, the logo is pretty good.

Coming from a windows environment, you've probably already lost.
But here is a book to show you how much you don't know (in a platform agnostic way):
The Tangled Web by Michal Zalewski.
Also, forget all of the advice above about starting by writing your own webserver. That's a fool's errand.
I wonder what kind of sales pitch it takes to get $12 million for a free web dictionary.
'Just imagine if we could provide 100 definitions from other people for the word "butt", how much is that worth to you?'
Vote with your checkbook. We're not talking thousands of dollars or life critical systems here.
Maybe it would be good at counting illegals crossing but it does nothing to stop them.
When hundreds of thousands (literally) cross every year, we don't need sensors on the border. Just stand there and some are sure to cross your path.

Can Microsoft deliver my Ms Portman look-alike petrified with hot grits down her pants?
Thx in advance.
